Found Deceased UK - Liam Smith, 16, Aberdeen, Scotland, 17 Nov 2018

I have just looked back in the news to see where they said that he got off the bus at Crathes and it on 28th Nov, BBC news stated "Liam Smith caught the 202 Stagecoach bus from Aberdeen on 17th November and is thought to have got off at Crathes". Police said a "subsequent credible sighting" of...

Found Deceased UK - Liam Smith, 16, Aberdeen, Scotland, 17 Nov 2018

Crathes isn't a village or a town, it's more of an area about three miles before Banchory. I honestly can't see there being many passengers getting off there. It must have taken a number of days before they found out that he got off the bus at Crathes. They searched Lumphanan first then switched...

I agree 110%. Can I check, are we allowed to post something that we have seen on a SM page or is that not allowed? I have just seen something interesting.

Excellent post. That's exactly right, when they carried out the extensive search at Lumphanan, they were sure that he had got off the bus there. Assuming they knew at that point that he had bought a ticket to Raemoir Road in Banchory, that would have meant that he would have had to stay on the...

Found Deceased UK - Liam Smith, 16, Aberdeen, Scotland, 17 Nov 2018

Thank you for your kind words. The weather has been horrendous today again, not cold (as this has been the mildest November that we can ever remember having) but it's been windy and so much rain. It feels dark all day, dark in the morning and getting dark again around 3pm. Normal weather for...

We live just under an hour from Crathes and it's been pouring rain most of the day, it is so dark as well. Conditions will be terrible for the people searching.

Are they 100% sure Liam got on the bus? I know they were searching Lumphanan to start with, then Banchory before Crathes. Do they have actual footage of him getting on the bus?

After SP said no charges to be brought to the person they were interviewing, it was stated that they were also speaking to someone else. Did they confirm that no charges will be brought to the other person yet?

One of the garages near us has those red Biffa bins. When I was in the other day I was parked right beside them, they don't look so big when you are up close compared to the photos. Someone 6ft would have to be pretty hunched up to sleep in one.

I think it is Cambridge News that is reporting plans for a summer "Corrie's" concert.

Does Biffa sub-contract in other firms? Is there any possibility the lorry was a sub being operated for Biffa?

This is an interesting link, it looks like the cab has a camera - this man was only saved when the driver noticed him on the monitor. I wonder if they have these monitors in all of their lorries or only some of them and if the driver has to be back inside the can too watch it. Surely if the...

Thanks, that's what I thought. When I went into street view and followed the arrow it took me right down Brentovel past McDonalds and it definitely looks possible to be able to drive up there to the HS. You can see the signs at the end of the road and it shows that lorries are allowed access to...

Hi Dave, I didn't pick it up - I simply wanted to see how much more difficult it would be to move it when it was heavier.

Been out all day so just catching up with all the posts now. I meant that it was possible to drive up Brentgovel (past McDonalds) to the HS. It looks possible on google maps street view but after reading the posts I'm assuming there are things blocking the street now which are not showing on...

We don't have any neighbours!! Don't worry, our daughter fully consented to the experiment. The bin was obviously clean and dry.
