While I do not think SG was murdered, I'm not close minded to any other reasonable explanation that is supported by the things we know as fact.

I don't know what they were thinking or why they used that piece of machinery, I'm just tossing out any reasonable explanation I can think of. Maybe they used it to create a hole to hold standing water from the ditch?

I don't know, but maybe they thought that after a year and a half, the remains may have sunk out of view, or been covered as silt and mud flowed through the ditch?

9 out of 10 high water events in that marsh area involve winds/weather out of the ENE, the pants and purse could have been floated to where they were found long after SG passed away. It would make sense to me that LE looked through the mud in the ditches near where the pants/purse were found first.

I would not think LISK would use this site, mostly because to enter it would add a bunch of U-turns, depending on where they were coming from, on the trip to the drop off site. That yard is west of the stretch of parkway the GB4 were found, and on the west bound side of the road.

I see the humor in your post, but in the dozens of times I've been through there, I've never seen another bike, and only two or three times came across a few birders. I've seen alot of activity at the maintenance site.

That site is not abandoned. It's used by parks workers for park maintenance. If you park at Tobay and bring a bike, you could ride through the JFK bird sanctuary and through the middle of that site, all the way to Zach's bay.

I think we both said the same thing. My point was that nobody erased anything, the info from that night was overwritten before anyone burned a copy of it.

The cameras at the gate do not record to a tape that can be erased. The digital info gets stored on a hard drive that overwrites the oldest info with the newest info. At any time before it's overwritten, an event can be burned on a disk,or viewed on a monitor. Once it's overwritten, it's gone.
