A few other people have said that cornfields are so thick you could easily hide something in them. I don't know about hiding a person in them, but I know they are thick. I took a close look at the cornfield around me driving home last night. Where I live the corn is so closely planted that there...

Very possible. Most people aren't going to try to resist someone with a gun. This goes back to my first post on this case. Someone is insane to leave their doors unlocked in this day and age. Even if you live in a place where you know everyone's name and trust them, you don't know if a...

I am wise enough to not be naive and know that the world has people who are animals and will prey on others given the opportunity.

I have a question that has probably been asked before so please forgive me if so. Was the house she was staying in in close enough proximity to someone that they would have heard her scream during the night? I have seen a video of her house in the media and it looked to be pretty much secluded...

I agree that this seems strange to me, but then again maybe they know more than they are revealing. It this is a crime and they have absolutely no evidence, then this person did a really good job of covering things up or got extremely lucky. However, I think there is very little chance that she...

I agree. I grew up in a small town of about 500 people. You know everybody and notice strangers when they are in town. Not like in a big city where people are too busy to notice things because there is so much going on. I still think this is someone local who just decided to do a really bad...

I haven't posted in a long time, but this case is all over the news. It has caught my attention and I have been following it closely. I think that it was likely someone local and who was watching her. Perhaps someone she knew. I just don't see someone from out of town driving through this tiny...

I can't believe in another month it will have been six months since she went missing. It still amazes me that people can just disappear without any trace/evidence left behind, but this seems to be the case again. I doubt whoever knows what happened is going to come forward, and there seem to be...

I think you may be right also. I think this case will go on for a long time for some reason. Not to be pessimistic, but I don't see the person who did this talking anytime soon unless LE has something on them that makes them confess. Whoever did this likely feels that they have gotten away with...

I ask myself this question on so many of these cases, but unfortunately it can happen when nobody sees the crime. It could be that a stranger just found her alone for a few minutes and that was all it took to leave little or no evidence behind for LE to track. I hope this isn't the case or this...

    TN - Holly Bobo, 20, Darden, believed abducted 13 April 2011 - #27

My thoughts exactly. I agree it's very possible that this case may never see closure for anyone involved. Unless LE is able to find or obtain that crucial piece of evidence that leads them to the person I sure don't see how they can narrow the suspect pool much. I hate seeing unsolved cases...

It looks like the neighbors are fairly close, not even a 1/4 mile away. Not sure which one reported the screams though. http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0&msid=218199748434644937742.0004a0e4115bf271e54ae&hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=35.679217,-88.175486&spn=0.007617,0.013057&t=h&z=17

The neighbor hearing the screams is what confused me also. If the neighbor could hear screams, how could Clint not hear them. I guess they could have been some distance away from the Bobo residence and much closer to the neighbor's house. That is all I can think of.

I think they will find her body or nothing at all. It doesn't seem like she had anything else with her to find. I can't see somebody throwing her clothes away separately. But honestly, I don't feel that her body is in the landfill. I think that if somebody harmed her, they placed her body...

I agree with what you are saying. Sadly, even with all the advanced technology available to solve crimes in this day and age, without a body, witnesses, or much evidence to go on there is only so much LE can do. People can vanish without much of a trace left behind. So many of these cases are...

    TN - Holly Bobo, 20, Darden, believed abducted 13 April 2011 - #27

I have been following this case closely since the beginning. If this was done by somebody outside the general area it sure seems like this is going to be a very tough case to crack. There is a very vague description of this person coupled with little evidence that we know of to lead LE in the...

Sorry if this question has been answered before, but what led LE to this POI after all this time? I mean two years is a long time IMO. Not saying they aren't doing a great job on this case because I feel they are. This motel room is the exact one this guy was staying in when BD went missing...

I agree with you 100%. I would have thought LE would have looked at anyone in the GT area who had a history of sexual assault since someone clearly took her in that direction or at least her cell phone. I just hope that after all this time there is still evidence if this guy was indeed involved...

I don't think LE ever really considered her to be a runaway because she left all her belongings in the hotel room. I think LE always considered her to be a victim of foul play. I think they just didn't have much to go on considering there was no crime scene or concrete suspects.

I just checked in and it looks like some new developments are happening. Good to hear. So this guy used to live in the Sunset lodge. Is this in the area that her phone pings were tracked to? What led them to this guy after all this time? Please let some answers come out of this lead.
