To me it reads very much like a revenge message. I believe that's why, at first, DS was suspected of being the mastermind because we knew how she felt about RZ and that she would also have a, IMO rightful anger, toward RZ and her ex-husband JS.

If I was on the jury and after the verdict would happen to come here to Websleuths and read this and every other deplorable thing done to Rebecca's memory and to this family that JS enabled, I would be dumbstruck with the lack of humanity and general decency of the man. Adding that much of it...

Every time I read "Rebecca Zahau was found hanged..." it gets to me because we know of Adam's multiple lies. For once I would like to read "Adam Shacknai states that he found Rebecca Zahau hanged..."

And if I’d gotten on the stand I would proclaim my innocence!

Regarding the short rebuttal—IMO paraphrasing Rebecca’s last words demonstrated a powerful contrast to Webb’s hollow “let Adam get on with his life.”

He is trying to give a slam-dunk gravitas to suicide because that's what the death certificate says.

He is talking about interpreting the painting on the door using Tsuida's statement that they concluded that "Rebecca likely painted the message on the door." So many people have gone on for years about what this message means. IMO the only one who can tell us exactly what that message meant...

BBM: God bless her and all of the Zahau family. I seem to remember reading that Rebecca's father's death was partially attributed to the stress of Rebecca's death. So very unnecessarily, even increasingly, sad. :(
