As soon as a body gases up enough .. and that depends on a lot of things .. it will float. If there is a current or wind factor it could beach. If not, the body eventually sinks again. How long a body might float, prolly depends also. jmo
EquuSearch had 2 cases this year .. mother on one and wife on another were "under the radar persons of interest". Both victims were found in the water and considered accidents. jmo

Am I safe in saying that we don't know his whereabouts from May 24-30? During the TES organized search? I'm curious if he was on a search team during that time.
You wouldn't believe the number of vehicles that are in the lakes rivers bayous ponds etc. From what I was told, during the search for Lillian High and her car, last year, IIRC, it was over 100 cars found in Houston bayous.
