"Killing Field" in League City, Texas- Calder Rd Cold Cases

This is lengthy reading, but worth it. It pertains to the Clarence Brandley case, and mentions the names of the other two POIs in the murder of Cheryl Ferguson...

"Killing Field" in League City, Texas- Calder Rd Cold Cases

Another possibility is that a serial killer, let's say from somewhere in or around Montgomery County owned a beach house at any of the beach or fishing locales off south I-45. If we have a person traveling back and forth between Galveston and Montgomery Co. routinely, it could lessen the...

"Killing Field" in League City, Texas- Calder Rd Cold Cases

Ack, I wouldn't necessarily buy Henry Lee Lucas for having killed more than about 6 people. He was a known liar. On top of that, Montgomery Co. had internal problems back then, specifically a cop that was possibly protecting a relative who might have been a serial killer there. I'm...

GUILTY TX - Kilgore, 'Lavender Doe' WhtFem 483UFTX, 17-25, in woods, burned, Oct'06 - Dana Dodd

Carl, could it be a question of nuclear DNA submitted for one, and MTDNA submitted for the other that could be the reason why they weren't matched up? I will call Kilgore and Montgomery to verify they are both in CODIS and with like kind of DNA submitted.

I'm sorry, Angie, but that is incorrect. Michelle went missing December 19, 1997.

GUILTY TX - Kilgore, 'Lavender Doe' WhtFem 483UFTX, 17-25, in woods, burned, Oct'06 - Dana Dodd

I have kept Lavender Jane Doe's artistic likeness imprinted on my mind with other faces of the lost, forever searching for the girl with the golden smile. Tonight, I just might have found her. That's more a hopeful statement than a bold one. I have yet to match anyone to anyone. Sigh...

OK OK - Jamison Family; Truck, IDs and Dog Found Abandoned, 8 Oct 2009 - #10

Oy vey. I have a headache now too. I don't know who any of the posters on Topix are except, NS, because she identify's herself as such. If the Jamisons got wind that arrests were coming down the pike, then they had to have had some pretty good connections, if I believe that or if I believe...

AR AR - James Griffin, 18, & Dallas Bittner, 17, Saline County, 27 Aug 1974

bubba, I just looked at a map, and see that where those two boys were found lying on train tracks outside of Alexander, AR is only about 5 miles from where the bodies of your uncle and his friend were found, that is if they were found outside of Mabelvale. Regardless, both instances took...

AR AR - James Griffin, 18, & Dallas Bittner, 17, Saline County, 27 Aug 1974

bubba, Sardis Rd. is a long one, runs through Bauxite, Ar and Mabelvale, AR. The sharpest curve I see is right outside of Mabelvale going WSW. From what you've said about the boys lying in the road when they were struck by a pick-up truck, it sounds to me like they were likely already...

AR AR - James Griffin, 18, & Dallas Bittner, 17, Saline County, 27 Aug 1974

I have some questions, bubba. Do you know the exact location where your uncle and his friend were run over? Do you know the exact location of where the car was when it ran out of gas, the location it was towed from? Does your grandfather or mother remember the name of the wrecker service...

I would like to know if you have a personal connection to this case, esp. since it's the ONLY case you've posted to? Are you related to the family? A family friend?

My view has done a complete 180

I don't know why not. Our roads are full of semi-drunk people driving on them at certain times, and many of them don't get caught. Who is to say exactly how many beers Jason and Damien had?

My view has done a complete 180

I don't need anything, and you are wrong. I learned from the Casey Anthony case that until there is an actual written report, an attorney does not have to disclose information he becomes aware of. The state of Florida had the FBI lab withhold sending out a written report so they didn't have...

My view has done a complete 180

IMO, all people and all killers have routines. It changes when someone decides to kill. Then their pattern is altered. What made Jessie Misskelley's sister kill her baby? Why would that day, for her, have been any different? Damien and Jason were cowards, IMO, and needed a third person...

My view has done a complete 180

I don't believe the state secretly tested anything. What I do believe is that the defense tested something, and it incriminated their clients. Rather than expose that evidence, the defense opted for the Alfred Plea, and the state was willing to go that route. There is a disconnect in this...

Life for the West Memphis Three - Free After the Alford Plea

With all the things Damien did wrong, it appears that he is more disadvantaged in the mental department than even Jessie Misskelley was. Echols actions revealed one of two things if not both, outright ignorance and culpability.
