FWIW, I can definitely see his connection to the home being as simple as a place he has taken note of when passing by for work. I'd imagine that since he is a handyman of sorts, dilapidated homes might catch his eye as remodeling projects.

Me too. That's another reason why I say WH might have texted himself from AJ's home... if it happened earlier in the day he would have had her phone all afternoon.

GREAT observation. Maybe LE can definitively say "we see that you left work at 11:53am" and that's why he mentions it. Maybe they have ideas of phone pings/car locations/etc at other times. Thanks for that mental link - that is very helpful in the direction I'm going.

When LE searched the pond at IOW they told locals that they were investigating because a phone pinged there. They said it was on March 3rd and asked the neighbors if they had seen anything that day.

Um... I'm 98% sure that is an actual Dodge Caravan.

Also, remember, we are fairly certain that her cell phone (wh cell phone? definitely a cell phone) pinged at the IOW pond on March 3rd... So, someone was out that way very early on. Guess it could have been WH's cell going to/from work? Does anyone remember which days he says he was working out...

No - Zach posts on his blog that the house was especially clean. He says it looked like she left in a hurry because laundry was being done BUT there were also some areas of the house that were particularly clean, to an extent that wasn't typical for AJ.
