Eeyorelrn, you bring up some interesting points, however if Ross did leave Hassani in the car or outside in the alley it is hard to believe given the short time span of him going inside and Hassani going "missing" and the police executing their search that nobody would have seen anything...

This may have been noted before, but the abc link last updated at 7:21 pm 08/11/09 states that FBI and homicide detectives have joined the search. Is that par for the course in missing people cases where homicide joins early on or do they have to have strong suspicions of foul play?

Am I correct to assume given the searches are all of the family's familiar places that LE does not seem to believe a stranger abduction? Initially I believed it might be possible that if Ross habitually left Hassani in the car for a few minutes while opening the back door, a SO or some other...

While I know not everybody does the social networking thing, it is a shame nowadays when POIs don't have them, as it gives valuable insight to personality and frame of mind around the time of an incident. We have been spoiled in this regard lately.

You are probably right CHICANA, I hadn't noticed the date. The reporter probably was speaking about the bio parents who I believe are divorced and just put them in as being the adults in the story. Thanks for the clarification :)

I totally agree SuziQ. Given that this man is 39 with a baby on the way, with the responsibility of two foster children, one of whom has special needs, I feel like an explosion of rage could be a distinct possibility of what may have happened to Hassani. The abduction story then made up to cover...

GUILTY FL - Murder Plot Gone Wrong, Dalia Dippolito Captured in YouTube Video

The awkward fidgeting of the officers' standing behind the one giving Dalia the devastating news is amusing, too bad the situation is not. I fear that her actions will be downplayed due to the fact that she is a "cute" girl, although given her actions there is absolutely nothing pretty about...

Boy, 11, dies after being stranded five days

This is tragic. After reading the articles I think that this is a case of a horrible accident exacerbated by poor / misinformed choices. Hopefully the one good thing that will come of this is that people will become educated about the heat and realize that these types of deaths can and do occur.

CA CA - Andrew Urdiales - Charged In Five Calif. Murders, 1986-95

Never mind on the Milwaukee idea. It looks like he was arrested well before some of the crimes here occurred and the suspect in this case has never been arrested for a felony.

CA CA - Andrew Urdiales - Charged In Five Calif. Murders, 1986-95

That is a good question Boyz Mum, however I get the impression that this guy would have been eager to gain notoriety for every act of evil during the confession stage. He seems to relish his status as a serial killer. However, he does appear to not to want to die himself so perhaps he is keeping...

GUILTY WA - Sheryl Huntley, 40, shot to death, Selah, 1 July 2009

This is a bit off topic but there is alot of gang violence in that report, which for some reason surprised me. Is there any way, given the amount of random gun violence and cars listed in that report, that the husband's version of events could be correct? I haven't followed this case super close...

John Hughes, Director of Breakfast Club, dead at 59.

I was a kid in the eighties and so loved John Hughes movies, wanting to be just like the actors in them etc... His movies while not all critically acclaimed left a real imprint and have stood the test of time, despite irrefutably representing a distinct era. RIP Mr. Hughes.

WI - Ralph Anderson cleared in '81 murder of Charise Kamps

Thank You for the info Wudge. I was born and raised in Madison, even having my first apartment on East Gorham, although it was over a decade after Charise's murder, but I never heard of this crime. I have read what I believe is the motion for a new trial from back in 2005 and I agree there was...

GUILTY NY - Eridania Rodriguez, 46, murdered in Manhattan skyscraper, 7 Jul 2009

I am unclear about criminal charges but why would Pabon be charged with 2nd degree murder and not first. Would the fact that he had been harassing/intimidating previously indicate a premeditation of at least some sort of malice? I guess what I am asking is he at the very least intended to...

GUILTY NY - Jeffrey Locker, 52, fatally stabbed, East Harlem, 16 July 2009

In addition, wasn't the relationship of the victim to the main, unapprehended suspect was that she was his regular prostitute? How is the male suspect explaining his relationship to the victim? I somehow doubt this guy was sticking around after his "fun" time was over to socialize with his...

GUILTY NY - Jeffrey Locker, 52, fatally stabbed, East Harlem, 16 July 2009

Who would choose to be assisted in dying by being stabbed multiple times in their vital organs? That just does not seem plausible to me. I think that this was straight up robbery and it pains me to think that with this type of defense, the media will dig up even more torrid details about this...

GUILTY CA - Jason Allen, 26, & Lindsay Cutshall, 22, slain, Jenner Beach, 15 Aug 2004 *Arrest*

Prayers for Joseph Harris' family and loved ones. What a devastating loss for them. It has been a rough summer for New Mexico Law Enforcement. Hopefully the families of the others killed get answers regarding Burgess' involvement one way or another. It certainly seems as though he is/was a...
