I’m not saying these guys did it. The dude is shorter based on the door marker. Maybe it’s just a weird coincidence. Maybe the butter chicken restaurant in MB and the one in Port Alberni know each other and that triggered her story of the killer stealing buttered chicken. Or maybe they were in...
Correction. He owes her $18.90. I guess these guys like to keep everything under $20.
“The manager of the Little Valley Deli near the high school said she instantly recognized the picture of Schmegelsky as the person who came into her store a couple of months ago.
She said a young, tall man...
Black pants too. They could use a hem job.
PS. It was NOT today. What I’m saying is if it wasn’t them they may have other players.
Is there a game that ends in black suits?
Seriously.
There was the woman from a Port Alberni restaurant who said one of the teens owed her $17 for butter chicken that he didn’t pay for.

“The business, Butter Chicken Express, was engulfed in flames when crews arrived.”
<modsnip> If that wasn’t them then they have other players in this sick game.
Eta.. not sure if that could be the black suit.

He leaves behind his wife and children. So very tragic.
Still can’t help but wonder if there is a connection between MD and the two men from Port Alberni.
Some interesting tidbits that could connect:
- MD is a carpenter
- his father was from Germany (deceased)
- Unknown family connections from Prince George to Saskatchewan to his hometown of...
Perhaps the fathers’ statement was in cooperation with LE and the media. Could the specifics he touched on somehow calm his son down and bring him into a more rational state?
Would the media really exploit this father in such a vulnerable state without some sort of consultation/supervision of...
Maybe these guys sold the camper canopy for cash.
Maybe the Grandma wired money to her grandson or he stole her cards and they were traced.
Or the same idea for the unidentified victim and police are not releasing the identity so they can somehow trace their movements - could be cell phones...
Is this a new thread started today or are there previous threads?
For now I’m sticking to MD being the deceased man found close to the missing truck in Northern BC. He matches the description IMO.
(the caretaker was approximately 60 years old, weighed between 180 and 200 lbs, 6 feet tall, and...
Yes he was outdoorsy. He fished apparently. It was also said he had an airstream trailer at one time, that he would live in it behind the Plaza Hotel (but he also lived on the third floor of the empty building and used the basement - fire started in bsmt.) and that at one time he had it parked...
Yeah it’s a long shot. I missed the part that they were heading north from Hudsons Hope, I thought it was Fort Nelson they were referencing. I know that there is a connection to HH in that Lucas worked there at a ranch but had left to travel.
I’m curious if the couple would have been heading to or already been to Dease Lake, if it was on the travel plans. Chynna Deese heading to Dease Lake could have been a romantic idea as part of their travel and adventure.
If there is more than one person involved with these killings or of the missing (including the two men from Surrey) maybe one has died one is on the run (made it to Logan Lake) or two people on the run going separate ways.
I posted in the thread for Lucas and Chynna but see there is a separate thread here so reposting:
RCMP released a sketch of the man found dead not far from the abandoned truck the missing men were using. <modsnip: Please do not bring social comments to Websleuths>
RCMP released a sketch of the man found dead not far from the abandoned truck the missing men were using. Someone from SM commented that he looked like Michael Draeger who has been missing since May 2019 when the hotel he resided in (resident caretaker) The Plaza Hotel in Victoria burnt to the...
