UNSOLVED CA - Port Hueneme, LIVING HispFem 'Luxci', Sep'92

Go to 21:27. This is the original Unsolved Mysteries segment. It doesn't include any info from after besides a barebones update on how Lucy left the shelter. It does have pictures and video of Lucy working with a therapist.

On the first page of this current thread is the timeline link. The timeline is not right at the top there, but scroll down and it is on that page. The map is linked there too. I don't know why the previous threads are not all linked, but here is a link to Thread #1 for you to start on. Also...

Lesbian harassment? With other cases I've followed over the years wrapped up more or less, this one remains the one that most interests me. The circumstances of how and why the undergarments were left behind and not the outerwear continues to mystify me.

Online, no. You'd probably have to go to a local library.

So... After all the fun times we had with the VI and the possibilities of sightings and all, are we back to "Yellow and friends did it" vs. "she fell overboard"?

I will recap my own opinion. In the documentary 9/11 by the two Naudet brothers, after the planes hit, the second brother was still at the firehouse where he and his brother had been embedded to document the life of a probationary firefighter. The second brother headed off for the WTC to try...

On the "stay" detail... A family member is in the hospital and my dad and I went for a walk around the building to look at things since it's an old hospital and my dad as an EMT transported patients there many times over the years. There were several times when my dad would stop and start...

Google Earth gets its imagery from third party satellites. It wouldn't be able to get "on demand" images of the ground. The military has the capability, but again, the "on demand" part of it is very expensive. Satellites have established orbits and can't be everywhere at once. To move them...

    1. Hit and run: I would be interested in knowing how long fluids from a person hit by a car would survive on asphalt on a hot, dry summer day. 2. RT's use of terms like "crime scene" and "prime suspect": Reading into a man's use of cop show lingo I would say is highly subjective. Is he...

It seems to be the question of why BT did or did not have a cell phone is just a way to skirt the rules on sleuthing family. Am I wrong?

I'm 38 years old and don't carry one on a daily basis. The one I do have is over fifteen years old and is obsolete. Not everyone cares about being connected 24/7/365.

Not some. :) It was a central point of discussion when things were still active since it is a key to how things went down that day, if the girls were even at the lake that day or if they were taken elsewhere and bikes staged later by the perp.

Adman, I am following along, though I don't have anything to say. All I can do is urge you to check back in and see if anyone who is familiar with the case and the local circumstances replies. Thanks for posting.

A friend on Facebook who is into local cold cases has mentioned this one, so I'm checking in here to see if WS has any additional info. This is the site my friend linked to: Case of the Month: Paula Oberbroeckling Interesting details about the autopsy there. Paula's friend seems to be the...

Potential Suspects and Persons of Interest

Just to clarify what I was asking, I wanted to know if anyone could point me to the other reference to C.D. that someone had brought up and had noted C.D. coming in under different circumstances. I'll look harder.

I know, I advocated hard for its creation because posts about Klunder were clogging the then-current cousins thread. My first post on the first page of the Klunder thread has two points that I think merit serious discussion before I will really consider him as a possibility: 1. Given the...
