    Head coverings are not banned, only facial coverings so what the woman is wearing on the photo is not illegal. Edit: which doesn't mean the pic was taken in Roissy... I only know Orly airport so I couldn't say if this could be Roissy.

    I think the pic has been taken in the Trocadéro gardens. There is a building with quite large windows and ponds with fountains and a big bronze statue. It could explain the reflections in his sunglasses. But as it is LM, it could be photoshopped as well! Edit: this is what I think LM would have...

    No they didn't found his phone, the traced him thanks to it as they got a signal from a relay antenna (which means he was calling, or receiving a call).
