What I've been saying since 9/28. Probability-wise, for a witness-driven sketch to produce a rendering of the suspect with the specific features (eyes, nose, downturned mouth, lines underneath eyes, a sketch that had scads of posters on various sites saying basically "..God, I *never* think...
Checking back in after a break. So maddening to have no arrest yet.
With so many points debatable and contentious, I keep thinking about one thing that seems ironclad to me: that the reward amount is way enough for anybody to turn BG in by anybody who even remotely recognized him from the...
Spirit, I agree with you, Holman's comments were pretty clear. Oh and ppl think he made them walk back across the bridge and around or that he took them away from the scene and then dumped their bodies there. Or something like that.
That sounds right. Makes me think if Ted Bundy, who literally trolled malls (among other places) in search of his preferred victim - attractive women around 19 or 20.
The only thing about that is that Ive always had some issues with it being February. I live in a neighboring state, and while...
They didnt. Sgt Holman said carefully that phone was found "in the general area" that the girls were. The whole interview answers all of these questions.
Everybody might want to watch the entire interview with Sgt. Holman and not just FB or news highlights. This thread is starting to sound like a big game of "telephone."
Holman said absolutely nothing about "new" audio. Obviously some outlet misinterpreted his comments and the ISP is...
Holman is very careful *not* to say that they have isolated the perp's DNA. He says that they have recovered DNA from the scene (and mentions the DNA of family members and touch DNA, etc) AND he agrees that all perps leave DNA at a crime scene. He then mentions that [6 months later] labs are...
heard exactly nothing from Holman that would indicate to me that LE suspects two perps. And I.believe what he meant by "others could help," is exactly what he said, that they can't pursue certain avenues of inquiry without giving up the crime scene/MO information they need to protect to be able...
I totally get all of that and agree to the possibility. That's why I felt differently for a long time. I now view that as less likely, however, than the possibility of someone operating in or near their comfort zone. So efficient, so "lucky," so quick -- it just seems unlikelier to me.
After 6 months, what increasingly creeps me out is geography. Realizing how legit remote and relatively difficult to access that area is. I originally thought and posted that it didnt matter, any killer could have randomly googled "hiking trails", etc., blah, blah, blah.
Two months later...
Two comments: First, one of GH's videos contains a brief discussion of the hat and I was pretty p ersuaded based on zoom and enlargement frames that it is a bill and ear flap hat (whatever they're called). Second, I think the sketch, and I agree that every tiny thing in it was calculated...
I believe they just meant "taken" as in "taking a photo," rather than "obtained" [from her cell phone]. LE has clearly declined to acknowledge whether or not they have the actual phone. Jmo
Okay, not to be all picky but actually GH said DG called Libby at 3:11pm *when he was on his way and almost there*, and arrived around 3:13, when he placed a second call.
Also, I saw a youtube video by a Canadian criminology student who appears to have put together a useful discussion based in...
Going back to square 1 in my mind with all I have learned about the location, particularly what does indeed seem like familiarity with the specific area (knowing what "down the hill led to,knowing no homes were nearby, probably knowing the flat area that was there). Trying to make list of every...
