. Wow, thanks a lot FBI for not classifying this as an abduction from the beginning and leaving those in the area with a violent killer on the loose to deal with. :(

I saw that as well. I don't know what to think about it, because my first thought it Claire who I feel lead people on big time.

A question about clothing removed by water-wouldn't it be more likely to be completely removed if there were strong currents in the water-rivers, oceans, etc? It seems like the water here would be relatively calm compared to that and that there would be something left on her. A sock...

No, it wouldn't have been a walk home. Where she was found looks like it is in the opposite direction of where she was supposed to be going. IMO I think she was taken at or near her apartment.

Try not to beat yourself up too much. I know you fervently wish you could have seen her or known, but you can't. :( But, with what you said about the pipe at her apartment, along with the map, makes me wonder if it was someone who lived in her complex. Someone who had watched her, knew her...

I don't know much about autopsies, but it seems SO fast-is it? I just don't want them to miss evidence. Any opinions on if it is fast for an autopsy?

Well right, there was the snow storm last week and at the beginning of that storm the rain was crazy. Heavy, hard rainfall for hours. I'm surprised she was not dislodged then...

Those were my thoughts as well-I thought that happened during the earlier stages. That's why I am interested to hear how long she had been dead vs how long in the water. I will be shocked if it is an accident. Her poor family. :(

As horribly morbid as this sounds, I am interested to see the basic time of death (how many days, weeks, etc) vs the amount of time the body was in the water. That will answer some questions about how long she was kept alive and whether or not the body was moved to the water after death. I am...

Yes, the storms could have something to do with it. Just last week we had a coulple of inches of snow and last night there were very strong storms in Weld County-tornado warnings, etc. I'm not super familiar with Greeley, but I do know the highway and have a basic lay of the land. That area...

Excuse my outrage here, BUT HOW ON EARTH DID THE FBI NOT FIND HER? She was a mile away! Or the volunteer searchers?!?

GUILTY TX - Gerren Isgrigg, 6, disabled, left to die in Wylie park, 12 April 2010

I don't mean to sounds ignorant, but I am curious. Is most of the abuse neglect? As in people just don't give these children the care they need? I would assume there would also be sexual or physical abuse, but in smaller numbers.

GUILTY TX - Gerren Isgrigg, 6, disabled, left to die in Wylie park, 12 April 2010

Ugh, that vegetable comment keeps getting me. When I was 12 or so, I had a cousin born who the doctors swore up and down would be a vegetable. He had a feeding tube, couldn't walk or speak (just make sounds). He was, however, so very aware of the family around him and who loved him. You could...

GUILTY TX - Gerren Isgrigg, 6, disabled, left to die in Wylie park, 12 April 2010

I found this interesting from a comment on the Dallas Morning News site: "Very sad. This child probably died of dehydration. I ride that route several times a week on my bike and rode past while he was there. It is too far off the road to hear a baby crying and not part of the main park. It is...
