  1. Helplessly Hoping

    Haleigh Cummings general discussion

I don't think I will ever be able to forget about Haleigh and with Ron's release was hoping there would be some type of news/activity. I follow as I can like so many others, and I see the news articles saying he was never considered a suspect and I don't believe that for a moment.

Found Deceased PA - Four young men, 18-22, Bucks Co., 5-9 July 2017 #7 *Arrests*

Your first point re no one else detecting anything has bugged me as well but that is fairly large property and farming happens CD--with a TBI? IF true--I deal routinely with patients who have TBI and just now one is a retired engineer, lived a productive and prosperous life and yet a TBI has...

    Haleigh Cummings general discussion

I don't know why Haleigh is so present in my mind lately--I have to hope one of those afflicted with addiction will come clean and it will help them stay that way if they speak their truth--Give this child her DUE and let her REST in PEACE.

GUILTY NJ - Brendan Creato, 3, found dead in Cooper River Park, 13 Oct 2015

I listened to the hearing yesterday and came away believing the Prosecutor did not show all her cards...I feel there is more and considering the teenage girlfriend's social media posts--LE early on had a sense of what might have happened and took their time to make a case they could make stick...

    PA - Shane Montgomery, 21, Philadelphia, 27 Nov 2014 #5

just trying to keep caught up here but wanted to make an observation--I see so many posters--new and old--bonded and mourning--I have participated on many threads/cases here and while there is the odd unnecessary comment, I'm reminded that most people have the best intentions and big hearts and...
  6. Helplessly Hoping

    PA - Shane Montgomery, 21, Philadelphia, 27 Nov 2014 #5

I think times have changed a bit here in recent years--a local funeral director did kill himself here, had a high mass and was buried in a Catholic cemetery just a couple years back...I think the church (as a whole--locally IDK?) has eased up on that for the sake of the families but I agree...
  7. Helplessly Hoping

    PA - Shane Montgomery, 21, Philadelphia, 27 Nov 2014 #5

Very well put--I've even heard of occasions were the ME used accidental instead of suicide--maybe for insurance, saving face? I don't know--IF there is nothing but his body--no injuries, no signs of struggle etc, no video, note etc--what else can LE/ME use to assess the situation? It is a tough...

    PA - Shane Montgomery, 21, Philadelphia, 27 Nov 2014 #5

Kevin Verbrugghe said the body had been released to the family for burial and that a funeral Mass is scheduled Friday at a church in the Manayunk neighborhood of the city, the Inquirer reported. http://news.yahoo.com/pennsylvania-college-students-death-ruled-accidental-drowning-222431659.html...

    PA - Shane Montgomery, 21, Philadelphia, 27 Nov 2014 #5

I don't see that any of us have any way of seeing if it was an accident or not--same thing in the Sarah Majoras' death--she had injuries per the autopsy but when they happened IIRC was open for conjecture...in a world filled with cameras and cell phones where I sometimes wonder how we can do...
  10. Helplessly Hoping

    PA - Shane Montgomery, 21, Philadelphia, 27 Nov 2014 #5

I think they keep regular business hours but I wouldn't be surprised if the autopsy was being done this weekend--the thing I am unsure of relates to how much of the results will be made public--not sure who makes the decision on this.
  11. Helplessly Hoping

    PA - Shane Montgomery, 21, Philadelphia, 27 Nov 2014 #5

I've been following along but not been posting--as the parent of a 20-something and Aunt of two nephews that hung out at Kildares and other Manayunk bars--this hit close to home. I can't come close to understanding what Shane's parents and loved ones have gone through and pray they have the...

    Haleigh Cummings general discussion

My understanding is it varies by state--I believe both Lena and Ralph Lunford both lost their parental rights (As it seems should be the case)--the goal is always family or family reunification but in cases likes these sweet babies--who knows? Maybe the family isn't the best situation for the...

    Haleigh Cummings general discussion

Haleigh has been running through my mind like crazy and I do check in --first of all --maybe they did a TPR for Ron as that man should have NO say in who raises his son--he lost that right long ago (and multiple times) when he put drugs ahead of like getting his daughter to school, keeping her...

Holly Bobo, missing from TN 2014 discussion #1 ***ARREST***

*Arrest* Holly Bobo investigation- TBI press conference 5 March 2014

I've been reading along and the way this whole recent series of events went down has been quite the exhaustive ride--My sincere condolences to those who held Holly near and dear and everyone who grew to love her since we learned of her abduction...I hope her family can heal in time. People have...

Haleigh's General Discussion Thread for 2012-13

I finally made it through the entire filing. I think Ron's memory is especially shot when its convenient. Really the man doesn't know how many kids he has? The way he answers the drug-related questions kind of tells it all. He sounds schooled in how to answer questions but he's always been...

GUILTY PA - Satyavathi, 61, & Saanvi Venna, 10 mos, slain, King of Prussia, 22 Oct 2012

This is a complete kick in the gut. I pray that this family has the strength they will need to get through this and eventually can live in some sort of peace. I don't know if that's possible but I pray for them. I think closure is a bs word as how could anyone ever gain closure/recover from...

GUILTY PA - Satyavathi, 61, & Saanvi Venna, 10 mos, slain, King of Prussia, 22 Oct 2012

I watched the last half-hour of local news--WPVI and saw just one brief story mentioning that the reward was up to $50K and grandmom's COD. I don't understand the coverage on this kidnapping at all. Granted, Sandy is all over the news at the moment as we might be in for a direct hit; but this...

GUILTY PA - Satyavathi, 61, & Saanvi Venna, 10 mos, slain, King of Prussia, 22 Oct 2012

This report has dogs circling both the mother and father and then the dog took off in pursuit...whose scent did the dog pick up? Not pointing fingers but it is awfully curious IMVHO. http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/story?section=news/local&id=8858623 also-- A $30,000 reward is now being...
