Camera is on victims mother (pretty sure)..sad I saw her in an interview a couple of days ago and she seemed so broken and hopeless.. she just wants justice.

I gather the defense is scared that if they answer the question as it is stated it will imply the truth or that she is guilty.. I get that they are doing their job and giving her a fair trial, but wouldn't that be the point?

Case given to Jury. Nothing was said if verdict will be live streamed, but I will try to keep an eye on it.

So defense is now saying they got the wrong Jennifer. Its wasn't J. Mee it was Jennifer S. that was on the stand today (mee's roommate) who set up victim. Sorta makes me wonder, but they had 3 years to figure it out!

Judge looks like she is having as hard of a time sitting through this as I am. I think she might be sick b/c she has a terrible cough. I swear sometimes it looks as though she is either praying for this to be over or nodding off. This guy needs to hurry up or he will lose this jury to boredom.

I think it started Wednesday. At least that's when I started watching.

So victim had no drugs (particularly marijuana which he was going to buy) in his toxicology. I have been wondering if there was something else the victim thought he was going over there for other than drugs. Why WERE his pants pulled down and was there something sexual going on? We will never know.

Judge is getting upset that they are still arguing charges when this should have aready been done. I know law can be tricky but it sounds like the lawyers have no clue what to do. Like they are taking a law class in the middle of the trial.

The judge said something earlier about she didn't feel the state proved enough for one of the charges. I wonder if this is why the state chose to add manslaughter b/c if the jury only had guilty/not guilty choice, she might not get charged at all. Just thinking out loud.

Judge will include a lesser charge of manslaughter. Defense did not know state would ask for lesser charge.

She will not testify and the concoctions of her medications are not affecting her choice not to testify. Only went up to 10th grade.

Thanks I missed that. That's good news cause this case is a real snoozer. I'm surprised I made it this far.
