Forget the letter. OUCH! This is a party not a rerun of study hall nor wear our past woes on our sleeve..
Just show up, looking like a million bucks, holding hands with your husband, circulate the room with a great smile and they will get the point. Most of us are happy for those who have...
I agree totally. I think Smith probably reviews the event in his mind's eye, through out the day and still falls asleep with a chuckle, a smile and a Tee Hee .
Will be interesting to see what the Appeals Court has to say. In the mean time, Smith has a cot, 3 hots a day, access to health and mental care, probably 23 hours a day in his cell and a little TV.
It's my impression that Smith is well satisfied that he killed them. Does he care about jail? I dunno, but at 65 I think incarceration becomes less fearful and he was living home alone anyway.
They are still dead and if that does not give home invaders pause, nothing will.
If I were on the Jury, it would be Not Guilty -Self Defense. Hope this and other incidents where home invaders were killed by the home owners gives criminal pause.
Since this event, several black home owners n Detroit have shot at and killed people possible home intruders around their homes. and trying to enter. I don't know if any of them have been charged with 2nd degree murder or only Wafer. Will be very interesting to see where this trial goes and if...
I think Dunn shows signs of Asperger's or Aultism. Clearly, he does not have normal reactions. The girlfriend is unbelievably hysterical including wringing hands and tortured expression. What a pair.
Well, the last two days I did on TV. I believe that reasonable doubt has been established that it was possible for the young men to have a gun in the car and that the area of the Plaza and Convenience Store was not thoroughly searched for days while even then, the search was hap hazard, contrary...

Not to derail the thread, but what is functionally drunk? Alcohol may help fuel rage but I don't think it help aiming a gun and hitting a target multiple times. Dunn looks like he has a low emotional content to me.
I am not convinced that someone fat, slow and intoxicated can hit a moving SUV 9 or 10 times. Drunks can't even walk a line straight let alone hit a moving target.
Corey is doing an excellent job on the closing.
Clearly, the jury saw the "kids" up front and personal and know they are not...
FYI Guy, they weren't "kids", "boys", "lads" but young adults. Davis was 2 months away from being 18. The driver of the car was 20 and on probation for a 3rd degree felony. Like Dunn, they also left the scene.
Guy is playing around in Court again with another dummy. Does he not learn?
Melissia Harris-Perry had fun with that song too and laughed, till she cried for forgiveness on National TV cause she thought she was gonna get fired. Sadly, she didn't. Maybe next time she will.
I don't get why jail house letters should be used in the trial. They have nothing to do with the event and are after thoughts. Doubt they will be let in. Dunn is supposed to be a brilliant programmer so can't be that stupid. He did clean up well for court.
Dunn was dumb to take on a car load of males, no matter their color. Probably dumb to take on 4 of females too. They were dumb to entangle themselves with him. It is a tragedy all round.
He was a 17 year old teenager due to turn 18 on February 16th almost 3 months later. As the teenager years go from 13 to 19, he was an older teen. The 6th amendment talks about people who are charged with a crime and their rights which does not include those who are bystanders and uncharged by...
