Girlfawkes - you rock. I was going back to catch up on weekend media reports and your comments on WW were organized, researched, and articulate...you make us at WS proud

AutumnRose, that said, if MC's body was brought down the rumored path would the perp have been scratched and possibly torn clothing?

The daffodils are gone? ETA: God Autumn, your vids make me feel we are walking the path of the killer...my stomach is in knots.

I know this is a long shot but I recall posts earlier on where there was suspicion of an individual who had a noisy car...and now he does not drive it anymore. There was an attack of a 13 yo girl in Everett. Perp drove a sedan that was very noisy. Has this individual moved from McCleary...

Alt, published reports and Puf's timeline (map) show 12:45 MC was found.

ETA: Possible scenarios: 1. Water covering the body might explain why there was little or no blood at this crime scene. Water level drops causing LE to make a incorrect conclusion and statement "body placed" and that they are looking for another crime site? 2. If MC's clothes were dry...

I did see an article, I believe it was "the Examiner", reported just a few days after MC was found and specifically stated that MC was placed with her feet in a "stream" that flowed into the river. The other press releases made general statements that MC was lying on edge of the shore with...

I understand your observation. But records show that it rained that Monday...and it rained Wednesday on. Why spend money on a car wash? Granted, it rained only trace amounts, but that could be the explaination for the water trace marking...not car wash. The carwash scenario to date is...

This carwash issue really frustrates and infuriates me. This is probably the single most important location placing MC with another person (male) and we have NO information. Vid cams at carwash that can not establish sex of the passenger let alone description. No passenger...

The dragging part is our WSleuthing...rumor and reasonable...but not a fact...yet.

Don't believe anything. We go with the evidence we uncover and compare it to what LE tells us. We also consider rumors and deductive reasoning. I don't believe MC "washed up" on the beach and the water receded. The neighbor who lives above this property noted in early interviews with...

It's a crime scene but not necessarily the location where MC was killed. And with our excellent del rio photography, our sleuthers showed that something was dragged or wheelbarrelled to this site. Just a thought: One of the other sleuthers may have proposed this... possibly...

As Puf shows in the timeline. Evidence was found inside the CB house and at the location they found MC. She was apparently placed there by somebody (after being killed). The search results for a third location where LE believes MC was killed has not been disclosed to the public and may still...

snipped with respect IMO LE will not discuss the details concerning the progress of the case with JV since JV is not immediate family. LE will only discuss progress with immediate family, ie. father, mother... Just a theory: Since JV was apparently suspected initially, LE might have had...

They seemed pretty connected to the car wash attendant. But they only posted 5 times. Hopefully, they will come back...if not, I would be suspicious and hold it at arms length until it can be verified by another source.

Since we have been discussing timelines in most of this thread. Among the many facts that have not been disclosed to the public is TOD (time of death). I believe we have always assumed that it was shortly after MC's disappearance. Am I correct?

Wow, totally out of sync for a normal "day in the life" of MC...how bizarre. This in itself might explain LE willingness to jump in so aggressively. Family called to PC to recover MC's car. They must have known right at that moment something serious was wrong. How sad, I feel the sick...

My experience on another case, that is reasonable when you report to an LE tipline. Once a person, especially a young person is publically announced to be missing...calls flood LE.

Maybe these are connected. Everyone is trying to collect the reward and turning in everyone they know. Then LE's job to follow up and rule out every possible lead. Over 600 people had been questioned and wasn't that stated awhile ago?

I hope they are not holding out for a cellphone that was most likely tossed like a Hail Mary pass into the river. ETA: I'm not the cheerleading type but since joining WS, I have found a new found respect for LE. And I understand they have to work to a different set of standards, and if it...
