Removing access to the accounts for the suspects/family members/general population would be part of securing evidence, think of it as a digital chain of custody. The evidence has to be preserved in as close a state as it was at the time the offences are committed

Its possible, BS made a FB post about anonymous at one point, not that the two are linked, more that they seem to know more about the internet than the average 18 year old.

Oh most definitely, its likely why their FB accounts are now inaccessible.

They also weren't named as persons of interest right away though, it wasn't until shortly after the third body and their burning trailer that they started burning rubber. If the murder of the couple wasn't premeditated they might have been wrestling with the emotions or coming down off of an...

They were supposed to go to Spences Bridge, the RCMP says they likely made it there. Everybody wondering about where KM&BS got a gun. And then there's this: https://www.ashcroftcachecreekjournal.com/community/lytton-police-files-weapons-stolen-in-spences-bridge/

Not to mention they're likely already soaked in sweat and swamp water from the last few days. With all the bugs I sure hope (or don't hope lol) KM has a baggy sweatshirt, otherwise he is likely already in a deeper hell than a cushy canadian jail ever will be. It will be a miracle in itself if...

I can see how a horse will protect the rider from two suspects with an unknown number of guns who have already killed 3 people. The person behind this LE twitter is my hero, lol

I never get called up to do east coast stuff, only once in NB 5 years ago or so, and it was dense and the bugs were *advertiser censored* and it rained the whole time. Gillam would likely be even worse than that this year, its mostly a flood plain / swamps, barely above water level most years, this year, with...

Yep, and if you stay north of major population centres you eventually likely pass prince albert and the pas, if you keep staying north and following that pattern, you end up on a dead end road near gillam manitoba. They probably had no idea they were about to run out of road lol

Yes that was the one. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find a crashed helicopter right now, let alone 2 killers wearing cadpat. I heard they did find it after we were called back though.

More than likely they would have killed the good samaritan and taken his vehicle before calling a tow, I'm surprised they didn't anyways just to change vehicles.

For sure, and it would be best for all parties involved if they are out of ammo.

With a cell phone you don't always have the same IP address. They can track what towers you connect to and trace your movements, and possibly any unencrypted communication, based on one of your devices unique identifiers though. But then it becomes a matter of linking that device specifically...

And dangerous, the last SAR I was on looking for crashed helicopter we ended up losing one of our own helicopters. Gillam is even more isolated than that place was

No, they haven't released anything about the weapon being used. It could be a match lock musket circa 1650 for all we know

Network for getting the job is likely correct.I've known lots of people who up and left Ontario to go look for work out west, especially in the oil patch. Most of them had absolutely no connections, and never got jobs there, a couple came home, one worked in a hotel in banff, one in calgary...

This is going back about 5+ years... but in Canada you also had to provide personal details to activate one, like a credit card or other id

What they did after high school, leaving to find work, is what tens thousands of canadians from small towns do. It takes a canadian 18 years to reach the age of majority and finish high school, those that don't go onto post secondary join the work force. It takes the average worker twice as long...
