IMO it isn't far to go from neglect to abuse. Maybe KC only hit her one time and it was the last time she touched KC. But IMO she was headed there. Caylee was already, at the least, a neglected child. Remember the allegations of neglect by TonE's roommate's girlfriend? She stated that whe...
New case, in Florida, with a lying mommy and a nanny supposedly abducting the baby.

Thanks. I think so too. It seems every time we get pointed to "Zanny" there is something to refute her existence. I don't see how the defense can stick with that story. None of it adds up. Are they really that stupid...rhetorical question I guess.
I think the media reports just aren't detailed enough to analyze whether or not the chain of evidence is intact. IMO everything will be done the same as it usually is in murder cases where the remains are only bones and hair. Perhaps the defense got their hair sample sent directly to a lab and...
If any fingerprints survive, and maybe that is a possibility since the book is largely intact, how would the defense explain the lack of "Zanny" fingerprints? Especially if Caylee's and KC's and even CA's happened to be on it?
They must be mistaken. We discussed the involvement of a forensic anthropologist already, hired by the defense. http://websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=76115&page=17
If I were to guess I would say that the release was to the family and that they had Caylee's remains sent to a funeral...

Kathy Reichs, forensic anthropologist, said on TV that she had been hired by the defense to examine Caylee's remains. She also refuted the rumor that her fees were being paid by a book deal and said she is too busy with producing "Bones" and writing her Temperance Brennan novels.
I don't think they are going to be able to use the body to determine a date or time. The medical examiner usually has soft tissue, stomach contents, etc. when they declare an approximate date and time. Caylee's body was completely skeletonized.
Hahaha. I know moo (my opinion only) but I still saw that as moo. As in cow. Hahaha.
Somehow I didn't see KC as someone who would feel enough regret that she would place mementos. Or return to the scene with Caylee's book and place it there. Maybe KC isn't sentimental and the items were...
I'll have to go look for the video of Caylee with the book to be sure but I was thinking the book was one of those that have heavy cardboard pages instead of just paper. If so it wouldn't break down as quickly as a book with paper pages.

I'm sorry if I wasn't clear. I was excited.
The caption for the photo of Caylee reading her book at the nursing home: "This undated photo shows missing girl Caylee Anthony reading a storybook police say they found in the woods near her family's home." I found that after reading here about...
Fox News is reporting that the very same book was found in the woods as in the photo. So the people analyzing crime scene photos must have pretty good eyes for this kind of thing (in the thread for the photos)

They have been talking about this case for the last 30 minutes or so. Lenamon, the former DP-certified attorney who left the case, is comparing to a case where a young girl killed her baby in a toilet and only got 15 years for it.
