Maybe the BC side just happen to be more involved with the children for whatever reason.

Just trying to catch up on the latest.... Ok so it was my understanding that strangulation was (yet another) rumour- some people are talking as if it is fact. I don't see that confirmed anywhere-did I miss something? Personally I see nothing weird about seeing a car with a trailer on the...

Minni I believe at this stage all of the above are rumours heard here and there.

I hope that angel1 comes back if and when when she feels like it. She is clearly very sweet and her posts were really quite refreshing. I like her style, always kind, and her willingness to keep an open mind.

I thought to myself yesterday... If he looks grief stricken people will tear him down, If he doesn't look grief stricken-people will still tear him down :-| If he happened to shave something tells me he would get criticized for that too. I'm not trying to stick up for him, but I'm well aware...

Yep who knows! A good reminder to keep an open mind and be sensitive in our remarks because really, we just don't know.

Lol I thought I was the only person who did that! And then I feel glad that at least my little dog is there (not that she would be any help hahaha).

It's probably a good idea the cops pull people over at the roundabout. Lots of people don't watch the news so wouldn't even know there's an appeal for info (not everyone is obsessed like us :-p)

Personally I think before. I think IF it was him, it's innappropriate for him to attend and would be disturbing to his children when they get older. To be comforted by the very person who took away your mother doesnt seem right to me-in fact i would consider that a further betrayal. Not to...

I dont see anything suspicious about not wanting to drag the poor canoeist into everything media-wise. I see no reason why they would publicise anything about that person. The poor thing would probably get harassed and I'm sure they're traumatised enough as it is :-(

Thanks pickle99! I'm a big believer in the power of the situation. It's all well and good for us to sit here and say how we would act-but until you've been there you don't REALLY know (as much as we would like to think we do know!)

I like to remind myself of how young children can be remarkably strong. Allison studied psychology, and wasn't she interested in teaching emotional resilience to kids? I bet she instilled in them some great ways of thinking. It seems they have a lot of loving supporters to help them too.

Ouch that's a bit harsh! We don't know how they have been behind closed doors. They're in a horrible position I'm sure they're very upset!

Let's face it, he'll be damned if he goes and damned if he doesn't go. If he goes everyone will pick apart however he is behaving. If he doesn't go-that will get picked apart even more. If he does turn out to be the culprit it will be such a shame for the children for obvious reasons, but to...

I actually think going to school is a good idea. The longer they are away from school and friends, the more difficult it would be to go back. I can also see why others may disagree with back to school already, and I think it will be another one of those "everybody's different" type of things.
