I haven't been here longer than a couple days, so I'm not as used to this as you all are. I want this to be an accident and it hasn't been proven otherwise as yet. Why not call an ambulance or notify LE if it was an accident? Maybe he freaked out and just wanted it (and her) to disappear...

I really feel this will be ruled accidental killing/manslaughter. I feel like he was playing with her and dropped her on her head and something horrible happened when she landed. :(

Maybe Uncle Justin came into the livingroom and started messing with Willow (playing with her I mean) like uncles do. He's a tall guy, pretty muscular. It would not surprise me if her death was accidental..."facing" 1st degree murder means he killed her. Without having all the facts of the...

I just joined the board I think yesterday. I have no idea how you people come back here every week (or daily or monthly etc) some of you have been here for years. how I don't know. I'm going to bed. I'm pissed off and I want some butts. this is wrong on so many levels. She should be HOME...

They are putting crime scene tape up now...after 2 days of people camping out at the house, walking around all over the place? I doubt there is much of a crime scene left to gain any insight from. As is clearly visible in AmandaReckonwith's valuable timeline, seen here...

They have called off the search and are breaking down command centers for Willow so I guess there's no point in trying to disbelieve it away. So pissed off right now. http://www.kmov.com/news/local/Body-of-small-child-found-in-Illinois-could-be-missing-7-year-old-girl-223108311.html

Yes, your last link says remains as do three other news sources online. So which is it, body or remains? very frustrated

This is growing evermore worrisome as there are conflicting descriptions among the media outlets. Some are saying remains of child and some are saying body of child...two very different terms.

I believe that is due to the fact that LE did not discover this little angel's body, but a group of volunteers...hence why information would be coming from the State Attorney's Office rather than LE. Something legal, most likely. I still pray this is not her.

This might not be Willow. There has been no identification, I missed that part. It is so rare...but *sometimes* it happens. This might not be Willow. Either way a little child has passed away. Rest in peace, little one. Heartbroken.

I think I may vomit. This is horrible, dreadful, wrong, unfair and so sad. This is not the way this should have ended. This isn't right.

"Search dogs initially picked up trails around the family property, but there have been no other leads." http://edition.cnn.com/2013/09/10/us/illinois-girl-missing/ Someone did ask earlier for a confirmation of some sort that the dogs did indeed pick her up...they did. This is alarming to...

I just stumbled upon this via clicking on another member's signature link. This is the first I've heard about this...horrible crime and so very sad that it still remains unsolved. I hope there are answers soon for the families and friends of this couple.

In a nutshell, no. She now has CNN coverage, which is good. She is still missing, which is clearly not good. :(

CD- Mom? TK - Mom's BF? TL - Willow's Dad? JG - little brother's dad? DD - Grandpa? ...who is AH then? People keep using initials and I'm getting beyond confused. I'm new here and I know y'all use initials a lot (at least that's what I'm seeing all over the place) but for someone new...
