Welcome Stizzi! The train windows that are possible to open are too small to throw something big out from so that is out of the question. So the only option is if the train stops and someone open the door.

The local Police have found objects in the sea between Fauske and Rognan. They are sure the owner is AK and think he took the train to 16.05 to Rognan according to an.no

I am not sure I agree with you, as far as I remember the police states that he did not use his train ticket to Trondheim. You have to order a seat or a sleeper in your name when you buy the ticket so the conductor will know if the person is seated or not.

If he really wanted to go for a walk, Mørkved is a better place, it is closer to the forrest. But it is nothing at the station, you cant store anything. It is close to a high school, the university and a shopping centre and some other shops and you have to walk for a while to get to the forrest...

Zazara: I have never experienced a hotel who dont want to store your luggage until you leave so probably they would do that. But the hotel dont take the responibilities if something is missing or stolen while you store it there. You can book a sleeper on the Coastal Express if they have any...

I dont know if the station has camera who store the footage - it is very strict laws against it here in Norway, but if they have I would think the police would have checked it out. I would guess that if he was not on the train station or at the train it is only three other possibilities to...

ZaZara: Yep, looking closer to where the police officer stands it is the police station behind him.. It is only 6 hotels in Bodø and a youth hostel. Then the last two I find is a 2 star hotel and the hospital hotel, so it is not much to choose from.. Scandic Bodø is mentioned as a family hotel...

Chiatos: Yes, thats right! This is the one our local media have mentioned: Scandic Bodø | Hotell Bodø | Scandic Hotels Scandic Havet is only 4-5 years old and still news in town so I guess that would give much more media attention... The officer also mention Radisson Blu Bodø as the first...

The hotel in the video is Scandic Havet, but the police officer says Hotel Scandic Bodø and that is a different hotel closer to the railway station, so I have no clue why they stands outside wrong hotel... In the local newspaper they have always said and had pictures from Scandic Bodø Hotel...

Agrees! But I find it reassuring that the local police gets help from KRIPOS and Dutch police because it is not very often people goes missing here and not is found. According to the local newspaper it is only 15 persons in 45 years who have gone missing in this region and not found, and some...

The video shows the wrong hotel and not the Scandic hotel he stayed at, beside the only new information it gives is that he spend some 7 days before at another hotel in town. So he would have stayed 10 days in Bodø, what have done those days before he disapeared?

No, the problem is that the driver who think he saw him had no space in his car for more passengers. But a white merchedes station wagon stopped, so the newspaper hopes that this car driver would contact them! In August it will still have been a lot of tourists in Saltstraumen, fishing there...

Probably not, the driver isn't sure either.. He states it was a man with long blond hair and glasses, late 40 to 50 year old. Not too many of them around. But the information is a bit detailed. Haven't heard anything about his luggage so I guess it disappeared with him.

It was a dark dressed man with a middle-sized backpack. I do find it strange to take all the luggage with you to see the Saltstraumen for then to go back to Bodø to catch the train, why not store it at the hotel or at the railway station? If it really was him, maybe his intentions was to catch...

It was to Bodø the stationwagon was going at 4-5 pm... But later on you can choose to go left to Bodø or right to Fauske.

Yes, it is possible to store the luggage at the railway station in boxes, but the station is not manned and you have to pay tickets on the machine if you havent done it on the internet. It is a lot of cafes, restaurants, pubs and a shopping center close to the hotel he stayed at. A lot of...

The local newspaper states that it has been searched in an area close to the mountain with dogs, but they did not find anything.. His friends dont think he has walked very far because he have had a operation in his knee recently. I think it is difficult to disappear on the train. If you have a...

It is not impossible to go for a hike in the mountains or forrest and be back in a couple of hours max. 3-4 hours and reach the train 21. 00 hrs.. You can walk to reach the paths or take a citybus and walk from there. None of the buses in town goes to places near the paths so people have to be...

Yes, but since the day train leaves about 12 o clock it gives almost no time to go hiking local either. The day train arrive also late in the evening to Trondheim and can be difficult to get a hotel room if you haven't already booked. Almost no information is given in the news articles I have...

The train to Trondheim from Bodø goes twice a day, and I would guess he was supposed to take the night train if he was hiking. So quite short time to travel far away, and the mountains close to the town is very popular to hike in all the time. He should be found by now if he did that...
