Have never seen an accident with a deer that didn’t leave deer hair (at least). Sadly have seen quite a few, others often just a grazing, always with some hair left behind. No deer hair, no reason to believe it was a deer.
Hi Betty! Many articles have the time of the accident at 10:30 pm stating that Ravnsborg called at that time. We know the Sheriff lent him his car. A few articles early on had Ravnsborg going to the Sheriff’s home (nearby) but have not seen one stating that it was his personal car.
At any...
Was not aware of the information in the article I am linking, but some of it seems to conflict with what you have found (which actually seems quite normal).
Apparently SD laws favor drivers in pedestrian/vehicle collisions.

From the condition of Ravnsborg’s car after the accident (if you have seen photos of the windshield), there is no possible way that no deer hair being embedded in the windshield, and what was embedded in the windshield, left any doubt that an animal was not involved in the accident. Ravnsborg...
I’m so thankful that Jayme was able to free herself and find help. She is a smart and resourceful young girl.

I have seen 3’“recreations” of the wrist lashing and knot but not a single example among them approached the elaborate knot that was used on RZ.

I wasnt able to see Greers rebuttal, but thanks to everyone here I feel as though we have a good sense of what a powerful moment that was in the courtroom. It was the perfect example of less is more. I think the jurors were probably anxious to begin their deliberations. Im not worried...
