ETA: never mind you're right, that was from the same person on the Jodi site. But Juan's Tie says it isn't true and I don't think she was saying she was restrained because she was beat up just that she was not getting visitation because of it, which also isn't true.

No they aren't. Someone else posted that to their Twitter and Juan's Tie says no, not true. Juan's Tie posted a screen cap from the Jodi site that said she had to be restrained and medicated because she freaked out and wanted to go home but I can't post the screen cap here I think.

I think they did other than with legal people. No more video chats, no more delicious food, and wondering if she got some bad news about her finances.

Willmott got the same pay as Kirk since it was only fair. She also has a private practice with her husband called Willmott & Associates. I don't know if she still works as a public defender though in addition to that.

And the thing is, Jodi actually had the money to be able to do so, pay restitution. The question is will they ever see a cent of it or will Jodi be able to successfully move it around for years? I would like to see if she can maintain indigency while simultaneously hiring an appellate lawyer...

Yes quite clear from the posts on the Jodi sites that they knew that this fund was for evasion purposes and knew people could get in trouble for it.

But will there be repercussions for the people who aided in these schemes, including MDLR? And will this money now be open for the taking for the Alexanders?

@jeffgoldesq: @wheelercynthia @juanstie IRS is federal. Lying/hiding funds to keep indigency status for a public defender would be state offense. RE: Jodi's fund scheme.
