Yes, I agree that it seems to me that the assault took place in the car. And I would have assumed it was in a secluded area between Auburn and Montgomery. I’m just trying to figure out where he took her during that missing hour. So, we know he abducted her at the Chevron at 11:20-11:30, and then...
I think people are speculating that he took Aniah TO the Clarion and assaulted her there, not that he assaulted her somewhere else and then took her back there. I understand what you’re saying, but how do you account for that hour between the abduction at the Chevron and the sighting at South...

Answering my own question...
Looking back to when LE issued the surveillance photos of IY, as a POI. They never said he left in the Town Car the night Aniah disappeared. Could have been another day, since he reportedly frequented the Chevron. Also, doesn’t say leaving the Chevron, but...
My latest theory on the Lincoln Town Car is, if IY frequented that Chevron, that he was seen driving the Town Car on another day. Maybe even after Aniah went missing. Can’t remember the exact words used when the put out the surveillance photos of IY (before arrest). Did they say he was seen...
In the video of the detective testifying, I took the miscarriage comment as the witness was especially remorseful because he had lost a baby daughter in the miscarriage. Like he could relate to the family losing their daughter.
UPDATE: Suspect in Aniah Blanchard's disappearance extradited to Auburn
Honestly, I think that’s the reporter’s words, not LE or DA. Some MSM articles have used the same language, in reference to the affidavit. But the actual wording in the affidavit doesn’t mention the amount of blood, but could be interpreted to mean the amount of blood.
Can’t find the actual...
Unless I overlooked something, looks like in @Niner ’s long list of criminal charges, there were only 2 convictions. One clearly a felony. So, seems like at the very least the 2015 felony should have gotten his dna. Unless the laws were different in 2015?

IMO the timeline has never been completely nailed down. The 11:00 drop off could have been 11:04. The 11:20 purchase could have been 11:19. I mean, they seem to just talk about the timeline in vague terms, “just before midnight”. I think any single time mentioned is likely within +/- 10...
I think what @peppertheyorkiepoo was referring to was IY’s previous arrest involving the 77yo victim. And I think you may be talking about who was driving Aniah’s car. So. no, I don’t think there’s been any confirmation as to who was driving Aniah’s car.
Please, please remember...
it is against WS rules to accuse any individual who has not been charged or named a suspect
-AND-
it is against WS rules to discuss social media or internet rumors.
I’ve seen a few people here saying that the gag order has been extended to Aniah’s family. Is that true? I know that IY’s attorney filed a motion asking for the gag order to be extended to Aniah’s family, but last I heard, the judge said he’d address it at the Nov 20th preliminary hearing.
Lee...

Was there a stench reported in the building months or years later? I hadn’t heard that part. Do you have a link to an article? Or do you recall about when that happened? I’m curious to read more about it.

Just to clarify, though, LE can’t retrieve everything sent in snapchat, even with an emergency order, even within 24 hours or 30 days. If it’s been deleted from Snapchat’s servers, it’s gone forever.
Our servers are designed to automatically delete one-to-one chats once the recipient has...
I have wondered about her brother. He’s must be devastated. He discouraged her from going out. Ironically, had she gone out instead, she wouldn’t have been at the Chevron and may not have been victimized, assuming it was a random abduction at the Chevron. So sad.
I’m not in the roommate-is-suspicious camp. But then, I haven’t been following social media. Maybe there’s some credible rumors out there.
In any case, Snapchat can only provide metadata (date, time, usernames), not the content of the exchange...
A variation on this scenario, that just occurred to me...
Maybe Eric struck up a conversation with Aniah as she was returning to her car at the Chevron. A real Eric, not IY, not an accomplice. Maybe even a decent guy. Aniah gets the snap texts from her roommate and she responds, then says...
