Abuse from an intimate partner is a huge risk factor for mental health problems. I think, from her revolting comment about the hissy fit, we can comfortably assume that Mr Dunbar was being emotionally abused within that relationship.
Every time I check in here, I think maybe today is the day! Then I remember following the McStay family missing threads, how long that took, when most of us didn't really feel sure that there would be a day. Sigh. It's a day closer than it was yesterday.
Rush4087-it's frustrating, isn't it. I'm comforting myself with the fact that the longer it takes the LE to get their ducks in order, the better order they will be in. (If you get my drift) Hopefully this applies to this case.
On the edge of my seat in Tasmania. The news clip I saw said this property had already been searched before, but with the tip off and now the hit from the dog, it will be searched again, weather allowing. Does anyone know who lived there eight years ago?
Such a sad story. I can't believe that it has been so long! Does anyone know what happened to Chessie in court-she was facing criminal charges at one point?
I normally just read this thread, but I've just got to say-and I know you will all understand- I can't wait for someone to be charged with murder of the these two children. I'm glad the police are being careful, getting all their ducks in a row, but it has taken so long to get this far.
I just saw the full suicide letter in the Daily Mail. Fotis writes that his lawyer will give the full story, but pretty much everyone charged is innocent. Right. What did happen to Jennifer then?
(Swearing in my head, all his way, always gotta be all his way)
Wow, he did die. I've been checking in, waiting I suppose for this news. I think he was never going to take responsibility, admit guilt, and tell where Jennifer's body is. And I think he would just continue to cause pain in the future for those around him, so I'm relieved he is no longer here...
I understand that this falls well short of the legal definition of madness. She apparently planned this, understood that it was wrong, and took measures to cover up afterwards. But, well, it is all Madness really, isn't it? Murdering your best friend, stealing her baby, there is no happy ever...
Well, Geez! I didn’t expect that, although I probably should have! (Tasmania has a strong convict history, but no DP in Australia for a long time) Geez!
