SC - Four dead in Superbike Motorsports shooting, Chesnee, 6 Nov 2003 *Arrest*

It's been 12 years now and still no arrest or motive. I think this case needs a fresh set of eyes, not from the local police but from the outside.

IL IL - Lane Bryant Murders, Tinley Park, 2 Feb 2008

I do see some similarities, but I go back to the TP police chef saying the LB killer had never been arrested before the shooting because they ran his fingerprints. It's possible that the fingerprints they found weren't the killer's but it's hard to tell based on the very limited information...

    GA - Tara Grinstead, 29, Ocilla, 22 Oct 2005 #1 *Arrests*

Just watched the show on FOX News. It appears to me, with her purse and keys missing, that she left the house that night with someone she knew and that person did her harm. I think if she would have been taken against her will those items would have been left at the house. I would like to see...

Can anyone say there is no resemblance? This is the closest I've seen. This is Jesse Matthew.

NM NM - Steven Teran, 26, & four children, ages 2-13, Las Cruces, 10 Feb 1990

What caught my attention the most was Ida Holguin, one of the survivors. She swore she saw these two at the alley prior to this incident and she also mentioned they were looking for something in particular that morning. Maybe drugs or something else. It's possible this was a random robbery...

Oh, didn't see the second page. Back to the drawing board I guess.

Most Intriguing Classic Unsolved Single Murder Poll

I've been wondering the same thing for the last few years myself. It seems like wit all they have, if they could find the right person to come forward this case could be solved in no time. By not going on TV shows like ID, they are not getting this out to enough people. They say it is far...

NM NM - Steven Teran, 26, & four children, ages 2-13, Las Cruces, 10 Feb 1990

Next week will mark the 25 year anniversary of this crime. It's hard to believe a quarter of a century and still the suspects have not been identified. I'm almost 90% sure that these guys are dead somewhere and 99% sure at least one of them is dead. I think this was a hired hit and they didn't...

IL IL - Lane Bryant Murders, Tinley Park, 2 Feb 2008

http://amwfans.com/thread/79/unknown-tinley-park-killer Found this thread. Toward the bottom is another possible suspect that has similar characteristics to the LB killer. Wondering if the TPPD looked into this guy?

IL IL - Lane Bryant Murders, Tinley Park, 2 Feb 2008

Well today marks 7 years. What gets me is the lack of information that comes out about this case. It seems as the years go by this case gets more and more forgotten about. Tinley Park police will not call it a cold case although it seems they are no closer to solving it today than they were...

Most Intriguing Classic Unsolved Single Murder Poll

I voted for other. The case that intrigues me and baffles me the most is the Lane Bryant Shooting from 2008. This happened on a Saturday morning in a busy shopping center and the killer went basically undetected after spending over a half an hour in the store. This case gets very little press...

IL IL - Lane Bryant Murders, Tinley Park, 2 Feb 2008

I know I read somewhere, maybe someone can find the link because I couldn't, that the call you're referring to came from Austin, TX. I believe that's why they sent those investigators to Austin.

IL IL - Lane Bryant Murders, Tinley Park, 2 Feb 2008

The more I read about this case, the more I believe he was sent there to silence McFarland. That's the only explanation that makes sense in this case. I think he went there at a time when there would be few, if any witnesses. He may have been surprised to see more people there than he...

IL IL - Lane Bryant Murders, Tinley Park, 2 Feb 2008

Is it possible he shot her in the forehead because she had gotten free and was facing him? Once she called 911 he only had a window of 2 minutes, maybe less. I think he just started shooting and got the heck out of dodge. I will say he was sloppy enough to leave a witness behind and also...

IL IL - Lane Bryant Murders, Tinley Park, 2 Feb 2008

I've listened to this audio many times and I hear some things different from you. I'm not saying your wrong but this is what it sounds like he's saying to me: Relax...get over here....you're such a hero, right? You're gonna die.....You're lucky.....I'm losing it....foolishness....and then...

IL IL - Lane Bryant Murders, Tinley Park, 2 Feb 2008

I've listened to the 911 call many times and I don't understand why he would say "you're lucky" to someone he was going to shoot. Did he shoot and miss someone? Did someone get away and we don't know about it? I could understand LE not releasing information like that. I just thought that was...

IL IL - Lane Bryant Murders, Tinley Park, 2 Feb 2008

I don't believe the entire call was released either, but I don't believe the call was 20 minutes long. From what I've read over time, the call came in a couple of minutes before the police arrived. I believe he had already started killing before the phone call as he wouldn't have had enough...

IL IL - Lane Bryant Murders, Tinley Park, 2 Feb 2008

I know they looked into the lives of all six women and couldn't find anything out of the ordinary other than the manager's connection to the church in Texas. Some things that don't add up for me still: Fingerprints recovered with no hits in any database to this day. Perfect description of the...

IL IL - Lane Bryant Murders, Tinley Park, 2 Feb 2008

It was actually a part time employee, "Martha" who survived. Her identity has never been released publicly. She provided the description of the suspect. It is very possible this suspect is deceased as I can't believe he could just disappear into thin air. I don't believe they ever identified...

IL IL - Lane Bryant Murders, Tinley Park, 2 Feb 2008

My thinking is that he wanted to find a store with little resistance and no cameras. He used the ruse of a delivery man to get into the store, check it out for cameras and see what kind of resistance he may encounter. When he was satisfied that he had the right situation, he announced the...
