The baby was not cut even though he cut he in half, I would imagine it to be like a doctor performing a C-section. He used a serrated knife so I think the killer must have been vey skillful not to have cut the baby.
I wonder if they know what type of gun he shot her with ....if you Google Winchester and wsr there is a Winchester Small Rifle ...still the numbers throw me off. A 4 or a 5 written those two numbers are quite different a 5 or a 7 both have a straight line going across the top but the bottom...
I thought I read somewhere that a woman in the morgue gave her that name all though I don't think they gave a reason why this woman would call her Beth maybe she wanted Beth to stand out and not just be another Jane Doe I will have to search.
Just a guess but I think she cut herself out of those pictures .....feeling like you are no longer important like you don't exist like the things you want don't matter any more it's a part of depression I felt at one time that I no longer had a face when my husband had a bad accident that...
I agree with you on the theory that the handles were taken off so they would not get caught on tree branches. I think he expected them to float down the river and misjudged his toss.
I might have been thinking of the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Red Barons, now they call the the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Rail Riders I think. It just seems to me I have seen the SWB somewhere connecting Wilkes-Barre Scranton areas together but I can't remember where now. I lived in Mountaintop for ten...
I have often wondered if the WSR could have been WSB, since no picture was taken of the lettering on the hand you only have one person's account for it. WSB is initials for Wilkes-Barre PA which is a major area near the Mountaintop/White Haven area. If you are in Wilkes-Barre you take the two...
I just find her whole case very strange. From the start I felt something big had to have happened to upset the cycle her life had previously taken. I remember when the thread first opened, I think I asked, "did she lose a job, was she pregnant", etc etc. Something that would have been a life...
I wish the family and friend would tell more of what they know, I don't feel they were telling everything. Sorry that is just how I feel. Otherwise I would be one her more often, but because of the silence I feel there will forever be a roadblock in her case. Think it has to do with pride.
All good questions but thinking she was probably not killed in Tennessee. I forget now how long they said she would have been killed till the time her body was found but I don't think it would match how long it would take to drive from Tennessee to PA.
On topic of the NY Times article the...
In the beginning of my interest in Beth's case I played around a lot with the notion that WSR was some sort of directions. I tried West State Road 4547, even though there were only two numbers written on her hand, and came up with Rockport PA which is a small town not far from White Haven PA...
I will have to look again at my notes but if IRC the only thing interesting in the newspaper for that date was an article concerning how pregnant women are treated no better then dogs. Think I found it newspaper archives.
