TX - pregnant wife unresponsive on life support, husband hopes to fulfill her wishes

Sorry if I offended you by asking another poster a question about what they think. There are posts on WS about people think, not always backed up buy facts or links. I guess because she stated her thoughts I assumed it was ok, again my apologies and I am sure she will be glad you answered for her.

Quote: Fairy1" I do believe if there was any possibility this fetus could have come to term or viability without "severe disabilities," the judge would have found a way to allow the disgusting travesty to continue. I think we all know the fetus was not in "perfect shape." Just curious to your...

TX - pregnant wife unresponsive on life support, husband hopes to fulfill her wishes

I agree, there is always the possibility that some of these conditions could have been present in the baby before this happened to the mother. This is not something the husband could even dream of thinking about now...but he is young, his son is young, years down the line he has the...

TX - pregnant wife unresponsive on life support, husband hopes to fulfill her wishes

Glad to see this baby was named, but I'm a little confused. If they did not do a c-section and take the baby before they took her off the vent, and tests showed the baby was so deformed that they couldn't even determine the sex of the baby, how do they know the baby was a girl?

TX - pregnant wife unresponsive on life support, husband hopes to fulfill her wishes

Maybe it's time to close this thread, it seems like it will only become a platform to debate pro life or pro choice. What's done is done, a family lost a daughter and a BABY, and yes I cried for the loss of the mother, but I think I cried harder for the baby only because for a short time, I...

I am guessing the court gave them till Monday to do this just in case the hospital wanted to appeal, (standard procedure?) Otherwise they would have ordered them to do this over the weekend.

This person does have a scar, but it's on the foot, I think Beth's was on her calf if I remember correctly.

That's a good question, I wonder what number that missing tooth would represent. I also think in Beth's dental chart, the two front teeth on the top, with the hole between the two teeth are unique. That's if I'm reading the chart right and it is actually her two front teeth.

Is she also on some medical device to keep her heart beating? Sorry if I don't know all the facts. I would have to wonder though, if a machine is not keeping her heart beating, how does the heart keep beating on it's own if you are brain dead?

I wonder what the percentage is for baby's born with water on the brain, and heart problems, surviving. My Dad, and his twin brother, were born in 1927, and for what ever reason my Dad was born with water on the brain, but not his brother. Not sure what tests they would have used back then to...

I've been reading a little bit about Forensic Hypnosis which is an interesting subject. Below is a case in 1976 where it was used. 1976 Chowchilla kidnapping - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia "Ray was able to remember the license plate number of one vehicle under hypnosis, which led to the...

I typed in the term "1917" class Massachusetts class rings and found a book called the "Jewelers Circular" from 1917, The Robbins Company made class pins and class rings that kind of look similar to the ring we are trying to find, it's possible in 1917 you were allowed to pick your shape and...

I was just checking him out to see if maybe he had any siblings, he did but it was a female and the parents, after dropping this boy off in Mexico, took the girl with them. It just goes to show you the lengths some people will go to get rid of a child. These people actually planned to drop the...
