I truly wonder where did he learn that from? was he abused by a teacher in the past or a parent? has he seen another child get abused? kids usually repeat what they see others doing.
Where are the parents in all of this? when he kicked her at the end, there was an adult standing RIGHT there...
SheWhoMustNotBeNamed,
I think it's a combination of both. I think if the detective felt a sense of ownership but knew they didn't have the resources or the training to deal with such a case, and still took this long to release to the FBI is in a way bad detective work. However, what's done is...
Kadence,
I think Cody's mom Lisa has said before that the police refuse to cooperate with them which made it difficult for them to get media attention. I believe she has said before that America's Most Wanted missing children wanted to share Cody's story, but the police refused to cooperate with...
For your first question, yes! I think they were for some classes that were supposed to take place in a week or so. She made a lot of short term plans. Usually if you are planning to commit suicide, you don't pay money for concert tickets (which is something she did, she had plans to go to a...
I believe that they said they saw him being severely beaten the day of he went missing. When the girlfriend allegedly asked Cody to stay in his room, they told the sisters to stay away from his room. However, through Lisa's (his mother) own research, she found a blanket that was reported to...
I hope they stay late tonight so we can have a verdict early tomorrow, however, they are probably really exhausted.
I'm not sure how long between them announcing and the verdict. I don't think very long since this judge seems punctual.
Hoping for a verdict tomorrow!
This prosecutor is easy to listen to and follow along. She's doing the best job she's done so far in the closing argument.
Probably tomorrow, I think! There's quite a few charges so maybe even Wednesday but I think most likely tomorrow. They will only have the case for about an hour today (at least that's what judge said)
My heart goes to the mother, Lisa, the sisters and the rest of Cody's family. I check this page daily and I have liked the facebook page, followed on twitter and subscribed to the youtube channel. There's some news/update coming this Wednesday and I hope it is something that can at least give a...
I agree. The state could have done so much better than this. The cross was all over the place. I didn't get much out of it. It's very rare that prosecutors get to examine the defendant because they rarely ever take the stand so I felt like she could have done so much more. The only thing I feel...
Life! Kansas hasn't executed one person since the 1970s however the DP is legal but quite hard to get, especially if he shot her first cause the crime wouldn't be especially cruel and thus not even qualifying for the DP.
I hope him taking the stand was his idea, because I'd refuse to think there was a lawyer incompetent enough to advice BS to because he think BS would make any kind of good impression on the jury. He's so unbearable, and so cold.
I know he's saying that he threatened her with the supposed affairs, pictures and not seeing her kids again so he could convince the jury that she had motive to commit suicide. But it's a double edged sword because at the same time, it makes him look like a total jerk.
I feel like he made it...
I think it will be the jury saying they cannot come to an agreement. Why else would there be extra security if it's just a question? that wasn't the case when they asked questions earlier.
My question is, what do you think will happen in the case the jury was deadlocked? Will the state agree...
