This is correct. Speed limit is 110km where the pursuit took place. Rosthern is just a few minutes away from me. You're still gonna raise some eyebrows going 40 over even if it's not completely uncommon.

I do agree with the crown in this particular instance, but it's literally their job to be of the opinion that whomever is charged with a crime actually committed it. If you ever somehow end up not screened out of jury duty please don't just defer to the crown's predetermined opinion.

Keep in mind the crown doesn't have to prove possible they have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt.
