TN - Tyre Nichols, beaten to death by 5 Memphis Police Officers, Jan 2023 *officers charged*

Exactly! And where are the charges or disciplinary measures regarding their failure to intervene or render aid? Isn't that a mandatory duty of all LEO?

GUILTY TX - Samuel Olson, 5, found deceased, Houston, 27 May 2021 *ARRESTS* #3

Do we have a source for the Complaint filed against DW yet? I tried registering for access with the Jasper County District Clerk's Office, but... I think I got duped into one of those spam sites. Grr!

GUILTY Canada - Family of 5 targeted in hate-motivated, deadly hit & run, London, Ont., 6 June 2021 *Arrest*

I'm hesitant to even write this post, but... It's concerning to me that we have ZERO information about why this was deemed a hate crime, with added terrorism charges. Nothing. No known association between the family and the assailant. No links from the murderer to any terrorist groups. I'm...

Found Deceased TX - Samuel Olson, 5, Houston, 27 May 2021 *ARREST* Thread #2

Am I allowed to post a .pdf of the Complaint filed against TB? It's available to the public, but you have to register your information with Harris County District Clerk to gain access to the document.

I don't disagree at all. My post landed totally at random ~ wasn't directed to anyone in particular.

GUILTY MN - George Floyd, 46, killed in police custody, Minneapolis, 25 May 2020 #20

I don't think the jurors needed to see or hear anything in the media, or even on the streets in their own neighbourhoods or enroute to the Courthouse everyday, to know what the verdict needed to be. It has been made pretty clear since May 25, 2020. If jurors weren't swayed by what had been...

GUILTY MN - George Floyd, 46, died in custody, Minneapolis, 25 May 2020 #19 - Chauvin Jury Deliberations #2

I don't mean to sound insulting to the jurors, nor to anyone here. I'm grateful for the verdict reached. It was necessary to begin to restore some peace and humanity.

I don't necessarily think they got it wrong... But, I also feel like we'll never truly know whether their decisions were based solely on the entirety of the evidence presented in court. JMO

George Floyd death / Derek Chauvin trial - Sidebar week 3

Specific to this case, I think there could potentially be argument that delayed response from EMS and FD could have been pointed to as contributing factors (definitely NOT causal). But, they weren't discussed, because it'd mean nothing with respect to this trial, as those events happened after...

George Floyd death / Derek Chauvin trial - Sidebar week 3

I can understand the issue not being brought up during Dr. Tobin's rebuttal testimony, BUT, it should have been addressed during direct at his first appearance. Unless there's something worthy of being hidden... *Dun dun dun*

Yes, I'm guilty of being uber-analytical of EVERYTHING, ALL THE TIME, so it's very possible that I'm honing in on something that others may not question. Glad to hear I'm not the ONLY one, though! lol

George Floyd death / Derek Chauvin trial - Sidebar week 3

Agreed. 100%. For the record, and as I've stated multiple times in these threads, I believe that DC is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt as to the primary causal factor in the death of GF. Still undecided on which charge(s) until I see the final version of the Judge's charge. It's okay for us...

George Floyd death / Derek Chauvin trial - Sidebar week 3

Yes, I'm sure the Carbon DIOxide levels were due to GF's inability to breathe freely ~ normal exhalation is how we get rid of CO2 naturally, and it's replaced by oxygen as we inhale (if breathing is uninhibited). Carbon MONOxide is an entirely different issue, and I don't believe was of any...

George Floyd death / Derek Chauvin trial - Sidebar week 3

Does anyone here know: Are all Exhibits available somewhere for public access? I'm specifically looking for EMS reports (I think they're called 'run sheets'), and I'm not even sure whether those full reports were entered as exhibits that the jury will have access to in deliberations...
