Bosma Murder Trial - Weekend Discussion #9

Snooper, I am seriously impressed with your extensive knowledge on the ultimate dos and don'ts of maintaining the perfect, shall we say, nature's own medicinal product. Of course, I suspect your expertise comes from a medical condition. <S> Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Bosma Murder Trial - Weekend Discussion #9

I wonder now if MB still thinks her precious son DM is innocent as she previously stated. Funny she could say that even then, handling a small claims court settlement for him.

    Bosma Murder Trial 04.06.16 - Day 31

Without having a confession from MS (yet) that he shot TB, the Crown has done a brilliant job IMO. Everything up to now was 'DM is the one' and suddenly the whole trial is totally focused on MS. I certainly didn't anticipate Daly and probably Arthur having such damaging testimony of MS. Now it...

    Bosma Murder Trial 04.05.16 - Day 30

I see your point but then there's the old saying "Watch out for the quiet ones"

"As an online discussion grows, the probability of many comparisons grows: Canada vs. America, Tim Hortons vs Dunkin Donuts, Trump vs ________ ( I don't follow politics)..." Trump vs Dennis the Menace. Even their hair style is identical.

    Bosma Murder Trial 04.05.16 - Day 30

Totally agree with your reasoning. Just for the record, I have always thought MS pulled the trigger, DM orchestrated all the other nasty stuff. Well, now there's 2 of us.

    Bosma Murder Trial 04.05.16 - Day 30

New website - my honest opinion as a VIP (visually impaired person) Love the new larger print size for comments text. Don't like the MUCH smaller font size for the rest of the message print. This doesn't bode well with my screen enlargement program Now nobody is going to get a thanks from me...

    Bosma Murder Trial 04.05.16 - Day 30

Still makes me wonder why DM keeps looking at MS like that. It's almost as if he's saying "See what a mess you got me into. This is the gun you brought to the test drive, but they call it Millard's gun"

    Bosma Murder Trial 04.05.16 - Day 30

I don't get it. If a gun expert is testifying about a specific type of gun, would you not think they would review and fire a few rounds prior to testifying? Rather than saying " I fired one of these about 8 years ago?" Guess I am getting picky in my old age.

    Bosma Murder Trial 04.05.16 - Day 30

Apart from TD totally unveiling what an unscrupulous liar SS really is, apart from wrangling a glimpse of the true inner being of DM as a complete irresponsible mememe control freak, TD has managed to crack the door open that MS was merely a poor, dumb kid with nothing to his name, totally...

Bosma Murder Trial - Weekend Discussion #8

Thank you for the kind words, but you certainly improved this idea with your own excellent suggestions. I know the jury cannot discuss the evidence with anyone other than the jury members during the trial, but when would they seriously get the chance to do this? Are they allowed to email or...

Bosma Murder Trial - Weekend Discussion #8

Great posts this weekend, lots of food f or thought. I wonder why the courts really want the "average Joe" to serve on juries? Too much room for errors in IMO. The courts demand professionals for every other aspect of a trial: Judge, Crown, Defence, LE, expert witnesses, court personnel but...

Bosma Murder Trial - Weekend Discussion #8

5 bucks that TD postponed his cross of SS 'til Monday because he wanted the weekend to gather the amazing questions and info from the super sleuths on this site. I bow in awe....simply amazing how you catch the obvious that goes right over my head. "security lights that turn to the wall if...

Bosma Murder Trial - Weekend Discussion #8

As an aside, I am in the midst of many months long performing the duty of executrix (female executor) for my father's estate. Having to deal with so many financial institutions, real estate dealings, etc. got me thinking about WM and his will. There have been so many great posts asking...

Wonderful, informative post! But did you even take a breath creating it? I was almost breathless reading it all so fast. Many thanks!! My most sincere apologies...........the above reply was to MsSherlock post #29, my eyes are not what they used to be. But all in all, the postings from you...

I agree with you, bridge financing for a short term is almost treated like a second mortgage for any new purchase and are higher rates run accordingly. But for an investment property, such as a rental home, I would think you would want the best rate of interest for the longest period of time...

Bosma Murder Trial - Weekend Discussion #8

I have to second this. I recently refinanced my rental properties and my principal residence and got identical very low interest rates for all. It may be in part because I have owned several properties for many years but I can tell you.....you can't give me an interest rate low enough to be a...

    Bosma Murder Trial 03.30.16 - Day 27

What a shady setup, indeed. Pay the poor worker with a company cheque tagged with his SIN number and then what? Either they didn't make tax deductions or they did and then did not submit the funds to CRA. What about other deductions, what about other workers? The employer has to submit the...

Bosma Murder Trial - Weekend Discussion #7

I well agree! This week of hiatus from the trial news is like staying up all night reading a great book only to find the last chapter pages are missing. ARGGHHH

Bosma Murder Trial - Weekend Discussion #7

I would have to think that the use of the wording "referral fees" was used very loosely and did not travel through the usual channels of disbursement. Also, MB must be a very generous mother to DM's friends. JMHO
