Laura Babcock: Dellen Millard & Mark Smich charged w/ Murder in the First Degree #3

I've been told "jury picking will get underway in Toronto on October 12 for the Laura Babcock murder trial, which means the actual trial itself should start before the end of the month. It's scheduled to last three or four months with a break over Christmas. A lot of pre-trial motions work will...

CN spent four months in jail before being released on $100,000 bail. Section 463 of the Criminal Code of Canada lists the sentences available to the court when a person found guilty of being an accessory after the fact. The available sentences vary in severity according to the crime committed...

MB asked CN to wipe her prints off rear door. MB tried to open the trailer from the inside her garage after DM dropped off the trailer as she was curious of the contents ... as per DARK AMBITION.

As part of her bail conditions, she likely has a list of people she is not allowed to communicate with. These would be possible crown witnesses. Does anyone have that list?

Actually, the author quoted details from the official New York City police dept report plus mentioned quotes taken directly from a condolence board written by both DM and his mother. It is unfair to criticize the book before actually reading the book.

Verdict: GUILTY for both Millard and Smich of 1st degree murder #3

I think we need a new thread specifically devoted to discussing the CN trial. Anyone know how we go about that?

Verdict: GUILTY for both Millard and Smich of 1st degree murder #3

Here we are debating the length of sentence before the trail even begins. This is Canada, not Russia. As bad as things look, she is still innocent until proven guilty and I'm anxiously awaiting the facts before throwing her to the gallows ... which I would like to do personally if she is found...

Verdict: GUILTY for both Millard and Smich of 1st degree murder #3
