I've been keeping up on this case on another forum, and I've read the articles that you all have posted in this thread. Suicide just doesn't add up, especially if they were bound together in a "cross formation." Makes zero sense how you would even do that to yourself, and tightly enough to where...

I grew up in Antioch, so anytime I see these unidentifides from one of the delta counties, I tend to always think they're local. Just a hunch. People don't normally venture out along the levees.

I don't comment on this thread because I live in SF and I hear it all on the news, BUT... I agree that Almena was running something "sinister" out of that building. What he was doing or how they were were living was illegal on many different levels. But.... WHERE IS THE PROPERTY OWNER'S...

I haven't been following this case, but all I see pop up in the Tapatalk main thread for this discussion is a pic of a very angry and miserable woman in a hospital bed holding a newborn. It kind of tells me everything I need to know...:(

I haven't heard a peep from mutual friends about her being found. If she was, I hope she's safe.

I've been a WS member for years and I honestly cannot believe the JBR case STILL gets this much attention. There are so many other compelling cases of missing persons and cold case murders that we could all be investing more time in. It's nuts to me that this one case drives people to the most...

Here's what I know: Family became alarmed when she didn't call on Xmas There is no credit card or ATM use after Nov 20 There was a call that came from a blocked number to a person here in SF. Person asked if they were looking for Katie, and person replied that she was at the store. Don't know...

Wow! I know Katie! Her MP flyer was just posted in my FB feed by a mutual friend. She was here in SF about a year ago for her ex-boyfriends funeral. She seemed to be doing well. I'm trying to find more details, but nobody knows anything! I wonder if she's back here in SF????
