This has been my hunch from the start. I think the husband seems hinky to us because he's hiding the marital issues, not because he's harmed his wife. I'd be very interested to know if Sam had a (secret) running partner and where that person is now.
Marriage breakdown is awful, emotions are all...
I've read through this whole thread and am fascinated and confused.
How did the US agents know who he was when he got admitted to hospital in Scotland and get there so quickly?
How did he get an "Irish/British" passport? There is no such thing. You can have one of each.
As an Irish person I...
He's a real piece of work isn't he? Poor Roxlyn, in an unhappy marriage, losing her baby daughter and no way to escape from this abusive womaniser.
Even if she had left him that night, where would she go at night time with no car? I hate to think of how he coerced her to write those letters.
Yes I agree too. From the very start we have been given very little detail about Mary's movements prior to her disappearance. I understand it may be due to confidentiality or privacy reasons and that is fair. But why is no one advocating for her? I find it all very strange.
Just to clarify, Steve decided to leave his pack with the meat in it on the way back to camp the day before he disappeared (due to not feeling well).
The following morning he went to collect it after a morning coffee. It is unknown if he made it back to the pack as the pack was in the same...
Oh Rickshaw I am sorry to read this - I hope you're not in pain and that it is just a pulled muscle (which is still very sore and immobilising).
Thinking of you!
Why didn't he skip the murder part and just go straight to the pills and alcohol for himself part?
I mean if that was his endgame why not just do that instead of killing his wife?
I'm not encouraging suicidal ideation here, just not understanding murder I guess.
Link also works for me and I'm not in the UK - though it took a little while to load as it was "checking security of connection " which I haven't seen before.
Yes I thought the same - but then realised maybe he doesn't care about those details as he is planning to suicide? What does he have left in this world after murdering his wife and deceiving his children? I wish he would have just let her go live her life. It was hers to live not his to take...
Yes I feel the same.
Life is hard, things go wrong. Why make up stories about suffering when there are so many people actually suffering who would give anything to be in a position of privilege like these manipulators.
And it makes it so hard for future victims to be believed. That makes me...
As someone who married (and eventually divorced) a man just like SP, I sympathise with KP. That kind of person (SP) lives for drama. There is always something happening to or about them. It is so easy to get caught up in their BS and they lie constantly. So much so that you don't know what's...
Completely agree. Rape is violent. For some reason male on male rape is seen (by men) as more violent and abhorrent than male on female rape - both are about power, aggression and control not sexuality but it seems to be very difficult for people to understand this.
