Feeling grossly misrepresented to be honest - Psychiatric Nurse? (did he mean Paediatric? even though I work with giants now) And certainly not the case that brought me here to WS, but very glad WS got a nod! Serves me right for not replying quickly to the journalist!

    Australia Australia - William Tyrrell, 3, Kendall NSW, 12 Sept 2014 - # 2

Keep checking back - hoping to see the Orange title "found safe" pop up. This week he seems forgotten by MSM

I noticed the past tense with Nicole speaking to the cameras too It was rather disconcerting - but I put it down to nerves and a misspeak in front of the media Any linguistic analysts here ? Edit to add - the man is Nicole's husband.

I still remember the SAAS call over the GRN - She was the third in two weeks harmed by parents where it was an obvious time bomb.

GUILTY Australia - Chloe Valentine, 4, tortured to death, Ingle Farm, SA, 20 Jan 2012

Chloe was one of the four kids that made me give up Paeds. We had a really terrible run of non accidental injuries in early 2012 - three of those bubbas died and I was way too full of Dexter style fantasies to continue. I'm glad the inquest is airing the failure of the system that is supposed to...

Hello 46 guests. *WAVE* Come on in - share your thoughts - alien abduction means we've pretty much run out of steam here. Baffled. Confounded. Stumped. Perplexed. Help a brother out?

You made me laugh - in this miserable thread of all places. Thank you

WWGY - I think I was mistakenly holding onto the word "their first visit" and took it to mean the whole family, rather than it just being the children. Silly bullheaded me. It's entirely possible that only the adults went for the funeral etc.

What South Aussie mentioned about a reward is playing on my mind. Why hasn't there been one issued? Would there have normally been one by now? I guess I figure that if it could help it would already be out there - so what sort of situation do we see where a reward would be more harm than good...

Is it horrible that I'm relieved the body in the boot found today seems to have been there longer than 8 days? A life is a life, so it's sad - but I'm still holding out hope for our boy.

Hi team, I've finally hit the login button, but I've been one of the lurking "guests" here. I haven't had anything really to add before now. I know we've not got a lot to chat about in terms of family dynamics ( and just from my experience with kids in Foster Care - the lack of details...

CA - Elliot Rodger kills 6, injures 13 in Isla Vista, Near UC Santa Barbara, #1

This is horrific beyond words and the latest bodies and manifesto just deepen it I have so much sympathy for all of the families - including the Rodgers - who tried to stop the destruction from unfolding but their concerns were nullified by the "nice boy" impression he gave.

Things to be grateful for. I'm glad he returned her alive. I'm glad her torment was limited to 48 hours. I think we all knew this was coming due to the nature of the items he attempted to destroy. Hoping she can heal from this.

Only at sentencing submissions is any reference to prior offences given - nothing can be discussed until it's placed before the court at that time. It's to prevent undue bias being placed while the crime is proven in court. But I also think it works both ways in this case too - there...

I hope not "exclusively" - as one would hope the police would be made privvy to this ASAP!!!! Thanks fruity

I'm struggling to come to grips with the lack of progress. Surely there is only one mobile phone tower in a town of Childer's size. Surely the severity of the crime means that those records can all be accessed?

So it's 2 am - woke up, needed to pee. Figured of check on things I'm so delighted I can't get back to sleep and Hubby is cranky because I yelled out a big "YES" when I saw the threads title had changed to "found alive"

I've got a bad feeling about this one. Mostly I'm praying that the fathers somewhat bizarre statements are right - that someone known to the family, in a misguided attempt to do the right thing - maybe someone who can't have kids -has taken her to give her love and attention and hell, maybe...
