I don't see much resemblance here, and we can't see her teeth, but the location on this one really struck me. Sheree was heading home to Harrisburg, PA from Kentmore Park, MD and never arrived. Our UID was found about 20 miles off of the most direct route from Kentmore Park to Harrisburg...

Maybe? Who knows... But I can imagine whoever raised her claiming to be relatives of the turners and creating a history for them, etc. That's the thing. If the theory is right, then the case is pretty much unsolvable. And that stinks! It could be abduction, or relatives covering for someone...

Ah, thats the mystery! I guess you could speculate that they saw the obit or knew the family or knew of the family... ? I don't want to guess too much and get myself in trouble! :)

Not sure if you're asking me... I stink at this forum business! But if she grew up being told her name was BST born in Bakersfield and given the date she may have just always known that to be her truth. Then she gets the birth cert and somewhere along the way she gets suspicious and starts...

Another tidbt I just noticed: there's a sheet of numbers with sets marked d and m. If you look at the BST birth cert it doesnt list birth dates for mom and dad, just ages. Mom is 22, dad is 27. If you look at that sheet of numbers, it looks like sheets figuring out her parents' birth dates. Does...

That I don't know but for someone who is "trying to hide her past identity," she sure does throw that turner name around a lot - ssn, passport application, etc.

...and why she had to apply for a ssn in her teens. If she wanted to get an ID card she'd have needed a copy of her birth certificate. I think that's probably why these two events are so close together. And she does indicate her former name on her ssn application.

It came up when my sister and I were chatting. We have an... Interesting fami,y history. My grandmother was raised by her grandparents but the woman she thought was her older sister was actually her mother. He real mother died quite young so they never bothered to tell my grandmother the truth...

I have a theory and I'm sorry in advance if I'm putting it in the wrong place or if it's been discussed but there's just so much in these threads! We know that FLEK ordered her BST birth cert in 1988, but how do we known she assumed that ID in that year? Perhaps shes lived her life thus far...
