Re: the magical hair that withstood a 60 mile round trip on a vertical surface. Is it possible that it was frozen into snow/slush on the SUV until it entered the sally port, where it was left behind when the snow melted?

I wasn’t born here, but I’ve lived in the Boston area for a few decades. You’re right that there are a lot of people who settle here from elsewhere (like me) who lack the accent. The accent is still alive and well amongst the natives, though. IME it’s particularly likely that you’ll encounter...
I see you, sister! I had a very similar experience about 15 years ago, but I went from the Northern Hemisphere to the Southern. I think it’s a big reason why this case tugs at my heartstrings.

One of the mysteries for me in this case is wondering what the heck is so great about PF that he had (at least) two attractive, professionally accomplished women interested in him. o_O
