One thing I keep thinking is that WC has a pretty repititive rap sheet. He put together a heck of a run between 1996-2015. Seems he was a bit overdue to strike again.
Improper use of media, curb or acc facility. 2015. Iowa County. Guilty. Fine.
Harassment third degree. This 2015 case was...
Assuming they had made plans the night before to get her a ride to work, what would have prompted the "do you still need a ride?" comment from the brother? Why would they have changed overnight? Why have her navigate to mom's house vs just picking her up at the dog sitting location?
I think of work rides as usually being set up the night prior so as to arrive on time. Furthermore, no response from her should have raised an early flag?
I think your probably headed in the right direction with that line of thinking. I'd still suggest that the odds someone would be kidnapped on their first overnight, alone, even if it occurred jogging, would be somewhat astronomical.
You're correct, thank you for pointing out just the first time actually staying alone. I'd imagine the number of individuals privy to such information would be extremely limited.
When I watched Dad/BF interview, it sounded as if this was her first time ever staying at the house to dog sit. She had taken care of the dogs in the past, but never stayed overnight. Something about this arrangement seems too coincidental. The odds of this happening on the very first overnight...
I couldn't have said it better and I'd imagine the things that bother you are similar as well. It would be nice to explore plausible scenarios with those fitting your well written description, without drawing a boat load of criticism.
