UK - Nurse Lucy Letby Faces 22 Charges - 7 Murder/15 Attempted Murder of Babies #2

No, investigators can find incredible amounts of information when they go through someone's phone and computer, even if everything has been deleted, they can still dig up your history.

UK - Nurse Lucy Letby Faces 22 Charges - 7 Murder/15 Attempted Murder of Babies #2

It would be more significant if she had a suspicious Google search history. The fact that they are talking about her Facebook search history shows how clean her actual Google history was. You can bet the prosecution would be talking about any searches for poisons, infant autopsies or similar...

UK - Nurse Lucy Letby Faces 22 Charges - 7 Murder/15 Attempted Murder of Babies #2

I agree. I don't mind them being cautious about medical details, but having her name and face in the media contradicts a fair trial in my opinion. It's such an emotive case, that if she's found Not Guilty, she'll be in more danger from vigilantes outside prison than within.

    Australia Australia - William Tyrrell, 3, Kendall, Nsw, 12 Sept 2014 - #60

Yet while many members of the public immediately suspected the parents, the police soon established there was an outsider in the camp. If the CS scenario had happened in William's case, a neighbour would have stepped up to confidentially tell police he/ she had had a visit from a contact selling...

    Australia Australia - William Tyrrell, 3, Kendall, Nsw, 12 Sept 2014 - #60

The abduction theory in a quiet cul de sac when they were visitors, never made sense to me, but then again, neither did the alternative of him wandering into the bush when I saw the terrain. The other option was a family member from either the foster or biological side, but both options were...

    Australia Australia - William Tyrrell, 3, Kendall, Nsw, 12 Sept 2014 - #60

But when the Daily Telegraph reported in September that NSW Police had zeroed in on a new person of interest, the foster family issued an angry statement. "Imagine waking up to an unsubstantiated article published by a large media outlet claiming a 'senior officer' within NSW Police shared that...

"…We knew nothing. Like … the first time I met Gary Jubelin was in the inquest. He walked past me, and I said to him, 'that's right, keep walking'," she said. Wow, GJ is coming out of this very badly.

    Australia Australia - William Tyrrell, 3, Kendall, Nsw, 12 Sept 2014 - #60

I did the original comment about the "birds weren't singing" was from the 60 Minutes interview exactly a year after William's disappearance. She did a walk through of the disappearance and I found it "off". It's the same interview were the female police officer says that something is "off" and...

    Australia Australia - William Tyrrell, 3, Kendall, Nsw, 12 Sept 2014 - #60

I've read speculation that foster parents who are on the verge of adopting, might have covered up a fatal accident so they wouldn't lose the living child as well. The agency would have taken away W's sister and the adoption would have been cancelled if they were found to be negligent in their...

    Australia Australia - William Tyrrell, 3, Kendall, Nsw, 12 Sept 2014 - #60

I might be snarking here, but at the time, I was cynical about the way FM was describing it. It was very visually evocative, phrases like "even the birds had stopped singing". Compare that to CS's mother whose story was so choppy, there were missing details because at the time she was focusing...

    Australia Australia - William Tyrrell, 3, Kendall, Nsw, 12 Sept 2014 - #60

It seems like Gary J had a soft spot for these FP, and took everything they said at face value. I feel like the Australian public were misled, because the abduction story was pushed so hard from the beginning, and it seems like any other (more obvious) avenue was dismissed.

Found Deceased WY - Gabrielle ‘Gabby’ Petito, 22, Grand Teton National Park, 25 Aug 2021 #8

Just reading through the threads and here are some thoughts. If a woman leaves fingernail scratches on a man's face and there is no further evidence into their relationship, I don't like the suggestions earlier in the thread that Gabby should have been charged. Fingernail scratches seem like a...

CONVICTION OVERTURNED NC - Jason Corbett, 39, murdered in his Wallburg home, 2 Aug 2015 #11 *Guilty*

Is it possible that Sharon Martens could be called to testify this time? Even if it was a brief questioning - why did you come to Molly's home that day? What were your thoughts about the state of their marriage up to that point? Had Molly ever talked to you about her concerns that Jason might...

What case really burns your butt?

I can see why she infuriates you, but as far as narcissistic killers go, this was a satisfying one to watch, because she got what she deserved without anyone dying. Thanks for sharing!

Wow, I'm sure that's a load off the Johnsons' minds that there's "no negative feelings" towards them for their justifiable grief and anger. Very gracious of Kim to agree to talk to them "if" the Johnsons do the difficult bit and approach them.

If she's extremely underweight, her potassium levels would need to be closely monitored, and she might be at a football game one day and having a drip the next day or the previous day. Hopefully her parents weren't just accepting these health issues as Get Out Of Jail Free cards, and they...

I have always gone with other contraception rather than the Pill, so I have to ask - is it actually normal to have extremely painful cramps when starting on the Pill? I'm getting a feeling that Kim and Skylar were both bluffing each other, pretending not to know about the pregnancy, and Kim...

GUILTY OH - Annabelle Richardson, newborn, found in grave , 7 May 2017 *GUILTY OF ABUSE OF CORPSE ONLY* *resentencing 2022* #4

I wonder what time exactly she gave birth? If she could get through transition and crowning without waking up family members in nearby bedrooms, I would think she could be quite stoic through hours of increasing contractions. Speculation: If she gave birth at 3am, for example, she might have...

I would assume it would be almost impossible to find out whether someone had had an abortion, but much easier to find out that a baby had been put up for adoption, even if it was done extremely privately. However, it could be possible. But if she had put up a child for adoption, then she's gone...
