Dewani's sister is a lesbian and sat with her gay partner during the trial. I very much doubt him 'not being able to come out to his family' was a motivation to divorce , let alone kill.
So are we right in thinking that as there is now a possibility his conviction may be changed to murder, and thus a stiffer sentence, he would become a flight risk if granted early release while/if appeal continues so will have to remain locked up until heard? If that's the case, I doubt SPA care...
Excellent result. Am I right in thinking that we're just one step away from a murder conviction? and if SCA deny the change of conviction that's game over on the other hand?
I'm starting to realise this trial will be going on pretty much for the next decade with appeals and such. Must. Ween...
If Dewani took the stand, then it would set a precedent that ANY criminal(s) could just pin the crime on someone else to shave years of their jail term without any solid evidence and testimony with numerous holes, contradictions and probabilities. This ruling has stopped the farce in its tracks...
So will you finally admit then, because he lied about being with a male prostitute, this is enough for you to be sure of his guilt?
I'm just curious what lies, how many lies it takes to convince someone. Do we count any of Tongo's or any of the other three stooges lies into account? Surely if...
I know of this. So because he didn't want the entire world to know he was with a dominatrix prostitute, that means he orchestrated the murder? Go on...
Please list Dewani's lies. And by lies, I mean deliberate fabrications, not small mistakes otherwise we'll have to make space for Tongo's lies over the next 5 pages.
Are you serious? The minute it was even mentioned in the same sentence or article about this murder, it became a discrimatory farce. And since then, his gay experiences have been condemned, insulted, dragged through the mud. Is infidelity morally right? Probably not. Is disclosing your whole...
This represents all the irrationality for me. You wish suffering upon a man even if he is innocent and had nothing to do with the horrific murder of his wife. On top of the pain he's already felt.
he's bisexual not gay. This means he is capable of having sex or LOVING both sexes, including Anni. Actually, more often than not, the times with men are purely sexual.
And where did you read he couldn't have sex with women or men?
why does a man's colourful sexual history automatically rule...
I don't think you're getting me all or maybe I'm not explaining myself.
Originally, one of the two hijackers, I can't remember which, said that it was a robbery that went wrong I.E. no one, not even Tongo, let alone to Dewani, intended this to be a hit but it was a planned robbery that Tongo...
It means he'd serve 9. And if you take five years of 18 then he'd serve 6. I doubt someone like that would bat an eyelid in incriminating someone to shave off a third of the prison time. Sorry but "only shaving five years of his sentence isn't enough motivation" doesn't work for me.
That's exactly what I think they were doing!
But even if it was just a robbery, in the car at that point was R10,000 plus whatever the couple were wearing/carrying . That's very profitable for just a robbery, rather than a hit!
