I had a thought regarding Alex Hunter's refusal to allow a warrant for the Ramsey telephone records: perhaps they had called Hunter to discuss "politics".
My god that is creepy.
Did Kolar mention anything in his book about Burke's pocket knife? If I remember correctly, the housekeeper said she had hidden it from Burke, and only she and Patsy knew its location, yet somehow the "intruder" found it and left it near the body.
Two nut jobs grab me out of my bed in the middle of the night and proceed to hold me against my will in the basement of my own home, and one of them kindly offers me some pineapple (which I accept and eat, rather than screaming in terror while my mouth is free to move) to help calm me down.

I just did some searching and there are conflicting stories as to exactly where the knife was found, and whether or not it belonged to Burke. Now I'm confused again...
I'm not sure about which thread, but the short answer is that the housekeeper took Burke's Swiss Army knife away because he keep whittling on things around the house. She hid it in a cabinet upstairs. The same knife was found next to JB's body. According to the housekeeper, only two people...
...otherwise. I wanted to believe that an intruder committed this crime, but once I heard about the Swiss Army knife and the statements made by the housekeeper, I became convinced that PR did it. An intruder just happened to find that knife and place it next to the body? No way.
Does...
For those of you who don't know, floor jacks are sometimes used in basements to keep the floors above from sagging. I was just thinking about this as a possible source of the skull fracture, either from being slammed against it on purpose, or accidentally. When I was a kid we had some of these...
Were they able to decipher any of the wording from the imprints? Was the practice note written with something other than a Sharpie (which I believe the ransom note was written with?). I wouldn't think a Sharpie would leave much of an imprint in the pad, unless it was ink bleed-through.
Thanks...
Thanks a lot SuperDave!! :)
Something else I wanted to mention:
I've seen people argue "why would an intruder write a ransom note, and then just leave the body?". IF it was an intruder who had it in for JR, what better way to totally screw with his head. The killer could leave a note, in...
I can't seem to find answers to some very basic questions I have, so maybe other noobs such as myself can post their questions here as well.
1. Were fingerprints found on the spoon?
2. Did the Ramseys say that they owned the flashlight? Is it widely accepted that this was the weapon that...
I'm happy to know that people are still working on this case. I hope their efforts pay off and the truth comes out eventually.
Something about this case has always creeped me out. When I read about it late at night, on this forum and elsewhere, I get that creepy feeling that I am being...
