To put this in context the forest fire in SNP is over an hour long drive away from where her car was found or about 50 miles. So saying it is at the site of a huge forest fire might be stretching it a bit.
I don't think we have any confirmation that she worked out in warrenton. I just saw that her last known location was Warrenton and people are speculating that is where she could have gone was to a crossfit place in Warrenton that she was a member of. Although people pass by Warrenton to get to...
You are correct about black bears, usually not aggressive and the ones in Shenandoah are more used to people since the park can get very crowded.
Rattlesnakes most likely weren't very active with the temps the days she went missing.
Doesn't matter if it was true or not, the fact that her name was mentioned In a public forum by someone the way it was and that would show up on any Google search of her name would most likely have shaken her up or caused paranoia IMO.
My guess is she deleted her Facebook after her name was mentioned with some not so flattering rumors on FU sometime last year. Probably didn't want to be found online by anyone that visits that site and saw the comments. Or maybe she got tired of Facebook like lots of people have. Could be...
Weather on the days she went missing, this relates to if she had an accident on the trail.

It appears she had some kind of relationship with Crossfit Warrenton so maybe she knew people in that area or visited there regularly for workouts etc.?
I think as this goes on there will be questions raised about the status of her relationship and what led to the separation between her and her husband. I think the bullying/claims online may have drove her to a dark place especially if there was any truth to them and what the implications could...
Yep, nothing that rare about a Mini Cooper. People in that area are used to cars from Northern VA coming through there all the time to use the trails, I doubt her car would have been "out of place".
Going to 29 through Warrenton to get to 211 west is a popular way for people to get to Old Rag/White Oak Canyon parts of the park. She could have taken Prince William County Parkway to 66W and then 29 south through Warrenton. Also she could have gone up route 17 through Warrenton to meet up...
Just so people know how far apart the fire and the area where her car was found are I'm posting the Google maps and directions. I doubt the two incidents are related but you never know.
"The lower trailhead is located in Madison County, with a parking lot as a starting point to first of the Lower Falls, about a mile up the trail. Visitors can go as far as they like, and then turn around – or more adventurous and physically fit hikers can go all the way uphill, including...
There is a parking lot for White Oak Canyon and Cedar Run in Syria, VA off of Weakley Hollow Road. You do not have to actually enter the park at one of the Skyline Drive entrances to access the lower White Oak Canyon Trail or Old Rag trail from the foothills of the park. As a matter of fact...
This is a pedestrian mall and honestly there is no way to get from one to the other by car except going on the roads behind the mall. I wouldn't trust those time/distance estimates in this situation. It's more like walking a small city block if that.
to Hessian yes but the quicker way would have been to go up Preston Avenue instead of West Main by the corner where Wertland is. It's about a ten minute drive to Hessian from where she would have been seen getting into the car after Tempo.
