No not offended at all, didn't mean to imply that. Just curious. And I didn't mean to imply they were common occurrences, no doubt it is rare in the wider scheme of things. I guess my point is it isn't outside the realm of possibility, and the articles do show it's happened before and why. I...

I thought I saw it mentioned somewhere but I can't find the link now of course; less than a year old. His facebook missing page has a photo of him and his baby sister.

If it turns out someone killed this sweet child, I hope they fry. At the same time, I hope that LE is damned sure of themselves before they bring charges. I am glad the FBI is involved and I truly hope they remain on the investigation to its conclusion.

I understand that link is a commercial site. But the articles referenced (and pictured) are real. Not sure why you're arguing the point.

Thank you. One thing that has remained consistent (as far as I can tell) is that mom drove dad to work, returning home at 7am. Which means she most likely was up very early and having a small infant and a 5 year old boy, it's a safe bet she was exhausted.

Good point. No where has it been stated this was a current in-use septic system.

A number of sources talk about the newer, lighter weight caps and lids that become degraded or damaged over time, or are displaced by vehicles, mowers, etc. I wonder when this tank was last serviced and inspected for damage? I'm not saying that he couldn't have been placed there intentionally...

Thanks for the info. Link to state regulations; includes tables with minimum separation distances between structures. http://www.vdh.virginia.gov/EnvironmentalHealth/ONSITE/regulations/documents/2012/pdf/12%20VAC%205%20610.pdf

Again, check the google. One little girl stepped just right on the lid, it flipped open and back again, looking as if it had not been disturbed. Someone just happened to see her disappear into the ground. There are plenty of stories of accidents involving septics. Which is why I was wondering...

This is what I find frustrating. Do the discrepencies in the timeline represent poor reporting, rumors, or changes in the mother's story? This is about the 3rd or 4th version of events as reported in the news. "At a press conference on Thursday morning, Davis clarified additional information...

I doubt he was at a NC beach (or any beach along the east coast) on November 15th dressed like that. Even as far south as Wilmington and Myrtle Beach the temps ranged from 29 to 50. Pretty interesting he doesn't post for months, then 3 posts in succession. To include an *alibi*. I don't intend...

Scrolling through facebook, it's obvious Shelly was loved dearly by so many. Her children are precious; her beautiful daughter is the spitting image of her mom.

His position included transporting patients on stretchers within the hospital, not in vehicles on the road.
