Seconded. I commented much earlier that this case was rather grubby but I was not expecting it to get more so.
I have now promised myself to lock my car doors when driving around Southampton as it is more of a dump I gave it credit for. It is ugly architecturally, socially and morally.
Thank you for the updates.
Well, this is all quite grubby and has done nothing to dispel me of the notion that large parts of Southampton are grimy and unpleasant. Millbrook for the best part is a massive housing estate and I have had the honour of having stones thrown at me as I walked to my...
From memory, the 31st January was towards the end of a cold snap (one of the few of this quite mild winter). There was some snow lying in the CCTV release outside the nightclub but a thaw was underway so it is arguable that the local rivers might have been higher than normal and so faster...
Did LS want to get a bus back to the night club? She obviously had money for her taxi fare homewards so was that given to her by one of her friends at the start of that journey or did she already have money on her?
If she did intend to travel back to the night club why a bus? If she needed a...
We had a man fall from a dinghy in nearby and go missing a few years back. One day walking along the beach I saw something 25m or so from shore and my immediate thoughts were it might be his body. Turned out to be a seal (which I have not seen in the English Channel before or since...).
I am the closet dogger, ahem...
From the map you kindly provide there is some woodland adjacent to the layby and a larger amount over the road. Not being local but the thicker woodland over the raod looks easily accessible from Google Streetview. This site would get my attention as it is...
Could PR have had access to several vehicles? Could he have had access to a trailer? Could a trailer have been stolen and returned without notice (given the lack of off-road parking in this part of the world from what I have seen these would need to be kept on the road)? Anyone with good eyes...
If the offences that PR is accused of are minor (in the grand scheme of things) then why was he remanded in custody and not bailed? Why was bail not applied for by his brief? Was PR considered a flight risk or is it an indication that there is evidence of something more serious?
I hope that a...

Poles in the United Kingdom - Wikipedia
Edit: Not a local BTW. Southampton (near me) has a significant Polish population. The Shirley area of the city is now commonly known as 'Shirlski'.
Errm, personally? No. Not my sphere of expertise nor indeed my part of the country. Locally to me, New Forest carparks see all sorts as you could tell when I used to frequent them in the 90s to enjoy the stars and an odd naughty cigarette. I can only assume 'other activities' still go on, more...
If this is the case then PR has conceivably had an opportunity to put anything he doesn't want finding at any point between Hull and Malton.
Needle and haystack unless happenstance intervenes.
Given PR's apparent propensity to 'air his old fella' I wonder how familiar he might be with 'dogging' sites between Hull and work? These, by nature, are not exactly on the beaten track and so could perhaps be possible sites to dispose of evidence?
This Daily Mail (sorry) article says 'He works five days a week at a bacon factory in Malton which is about an hour away.'
Libby Squire: Sister of Polish butcher arrested insists he's innocent | Daily Mail Online
Telegraph article clearly states place of work as Malton, North Yorks:
Libby Squire: father of two arrested in Hull on suspicion of abduction in connection with missing student
Given that PR, if he is the man and given his arrest on suspicion of abduction initially I believe he is, then he had time to continue his 'normal life' (such as that seems to be) and so him driving to and from Malton is conceivable if not likely IMO.
Unfortunately an 80 mile round trip covers...
Or, given everything else in the public sector has been cut to the bone (except MPs and their salaries), the police are perhaps overwhelmed.
Looking at Hull bus times the last one (a number 4) on a Thursday is timetabled from the centre arriving at Beverley Road/Clough Road at 2340.
[Edit...
I agree with other posters, towards the end of the first segment of the new CCTV it looks very much like LS puts a phone to her right ear; the hair flick just beforehand is something I have seen women with long hair do when using a phone.
I also agree that she does not look exactly the worse...
