They had built a family tree using the sheath DNA at that point. They found a suspect in BK, as he owned an Elantra, and lived within miles of the murders. I don’t know when they got his phone records, or delved into his issues at college. The sheath DNA took them to PA to obtain the trash pull DNA.
I can’t fathom what Steve is going through, thank goodness. I hope to never walk in his shoes. He is not the enemy, he has been put in this position by BK. Is he a horrible person because he wishes death upon a person who brutally butchered his child? Took away her future, a life, grandchildren...
I hope that Steve does write a victim impact statement, and I hope it is reviewed by an attorney. He needs to talk to someone who can help him channel his anger into something that is meaningful to him, and honors his daughter and family. I am reminded of Rita Isbell giving her victim impact...
I thought it was MyHeritage, which is technically not open to law enforcement to search for a criminal match? Maybe I am wrong, but I recall it being a workaround-if they were to find a relative, the only person that would have standing in a case against LE would be the actual individual whose...
Sure do. The people that were posting were referring to him as a Ninja. Early rumors, never substantiated, were that a roommate saw him, he was captured on the Ring dressed in black with a mask, and the front door was left wide open.
Did the DNA from the sheath make investigators look at everything else? They knew a car, they knew it did not have a front license plate. At what point did they tie BK in and access the phone records, that he drove an Elantra? Can anyone identify the order?
When they found the relative through...
I get that the Judge didn’t hear of the actual “agreement” until Monday afternoon, but I think he had an inkling. Steve G said that during a Friday meeting, the possibility of a plea deal was brought up, and then he received an email on Sunday night. Do you think they completely left the Judge...
Steve will never be right again. I hope he finds some peace. I watched yesterday, parents on their best behavior in the courtroom, sitting there listening to the monster who took their children away, like their lives meant nothing. I am afraid I would be more like Steve, shouting nonsense from...
Steve wanted the ultimate punishment for his daughter’s murderer, anything less is failure to him. His state has that option. There are individuals on death row for crimes against one person, much less four. He did not want this to be a decision made by a prosecutor and a defense attorney. He...
I think he made a mistake on a delivery address on one of his supplements-you know how addresses are preloaded into your history? I think he sent his girl over because he knew he wasn’t allowed, and he couldn’t be bothered contacting the company or paying the extra shipping fee to get it...
I hope that Steve finds something that helps him channel his immense grief. Families are kept in the dark on so much of the evidence, they are outsiders in the interest of ensuring a conviction and a fair trial. It sounds crazy, what is fair for the accused while their loved ones are in the...
This is definitely Brian Entin’s story. I remember him in Idaho, standing out there reporting with the snow falling around him near the house. He talked to everyone. I’m sure he has a lot to share after sentencing.
