I feel bad for everyone involved having to wait till August for sentencing. I am sure everyone was hoping for some closure before the Canada Day Weekend. Hugs to the families and hug your own a little tighter.
I don't understand why they go through the entire trial and then don't call any evidence. Closing should be interesting... Any guesses on how long jury will be out? I am guessing less than the Garland Trial.
The pour Jury to have to hear this. They will never be the same. Have we heard if any family is in the courtroom? He is a monster and I hope he doesn't get NCR. It reminds me of the Vincent Li killing of Tim Mclean. Vincent got NCR and now he is out and free.
I also think that most people are aware that in jail those who kill children will suffer pay back. I think it is part of the you do the crime you do the time. Not saving that I would beat him myself but I do think he has it coming.
I could be reading way too much into this but I remember reading that he was being held in Calgary until they determined if they were going to file an appeal. Does it mean that now that he is in Edmonton that he is not filing an appeal or how does that work?
I'm not sure if I can post this or not so take it as rumor - I have friends that are friends with the Linknes Family and one of the close family members posted that "they would like to shake the hands of those 4 guys"
Normally I would agree but I think in the O'Brien case Head's daughter and Nathan were very close friends. They must have lived close to each other according to the article.
He was the friend who was trying to raise money for them. Might have also had a connection to the aerial company...
