BBM I agree. That tape was the only thing the defense experts had to work with?? What would they possibly have testified to without it? I sincerely doubt they were advising Nurmi not to introduce that tape. And to claim Nurmi was getting off on the testimony, oh my, she is something else.
IMHO the now versus later is money. Any tell-all will make more money while interest is high. I know because I wasted a lot of time and money on some of the books that were released during and right after CMJA's trial :( That doesn't include Behind the Words, those volumes were worth every penny!
I'm not going to get on your case. I imagine in his personal life, Nurmi is probably a nice person and would make a good neighbor, etc..., etc... but I don't think he did a great job as an attorney. Instead of throwing every "horrible" possible on the table and making the victim out to be the...
I agree that if he's in legal trouble he can't really turn this book in stapled to a brief. But I do think he is bothered by the "taint" in the court of public opinion. I was surprised by his tweets about being a victim of fat shaming and internet bullying. I have to admit that "what a wiener"...
I wonder if Nurmi had decided to write his book at the time he lobbed the same question to Detective Flores during the penalty retrial? Obviously Nurmi wanted the jury to believe profiting off a book was loathsome.
Agreed! Agreed! Agreed! And didn't Nurmi recently scold the Twitter world for "fat shaming" him and mocking his appearance? But it's o.k. for him, dontcha know....
But why wouldn't it be offered on Kindle? That is the lowest cost option for publishing? I'm still skeptical about this book. Why would Amazon only offer a paperback edition of a book they are publishing?
Has anyone actually purchased or read Nurmi's book? The listing on Amazon looks legitimate but I'm still skeptical? Why isn't it available on Kindle? I don't know if it's real. I list items on Amazon for a retail business and could fabricate a fake product page (wouldn't but could) until it was...
How in the world could ALV have read this and still came away with Sky + Jodi = Best Friends Forever?? Or honestly testified that, as an expert, she saw no evidence of stalking when even his best friend was joking about JA offering to wipe??? Wow, absolutely no evidence of anyone seeing her as a...
Excellent point, as usual! But I still suspect she slept with one or both of those guys the night before because her quick "on the floor of course" sheepish denial when JM asked if she stayed over was a little odd to me. Because he (or maybe she?) was with CMJA the night before the murder, I...
Does anyone else feel like there was a post karaoke "slumber party" the night before? Maybe MM or his floor-mate had a Sony camera as well and she took the memory stick from that session?
Does anyone remember JA mentioning how she moved all of her stuff to Mesa? I imagine she showed up in her car with a stuffed trunk, not a rented 16 footer! I agree the rental was more about creating drama and obstacles to leaving Mesa because she sure didn't seem to have any difficulties coming...
Maybe the $2500 brought JA's insurance current, so she had insurance when she rented the car in June, but not back when she was borrowing the BMW and attempting to rent the U-Haul to move?
She seems fascinated by death and dead animals. IMHO if she was a man much more would be made of her interest in dead animals, by the public and in the trial itself. I'm not sure if she's getting a pass because she's female or whether that information was kept out of trial by this particular...
CMJA's writings are so overly-dramatic and fatalistic that I imagine painful words, combined with a "fruitful imagination", could morph over time into painful abuse, and then finally into painful physical abuse. After reading the writings and texts you (Hope4More) have been kind enough to...
