Yes, that's the bridge. And yes, there is an access road going down to the boat ramp at the river. If you look at Google Earth, it's in a very wooded, desolate area, even though Lamar and Bishopville are not very far away.
The vehicle was found at the Highway 401 bridge and Lynches River. Highway 401 runs through Lamar just 4-5 miles up the road and is about 14 miles from Bishopville.
My takeaway from the 60 minutes episode is that they have been going through all the cars on the 3 road cams and have finally come down to this one as the only one that they cannot identify. I would think that would take many months of investigation to track down all those vehicles.
Because there's no person of interest doesn't mean the case is wrapped up. You don't know if they are still searching for someone unknown who will become a person of interest.
All of Cayce is in Lexington County.
EDIT: I was apparently wrong. It looks like some area across the Congaree River (in Richland County) has been annexed. When I was growing up here, Cayce was in Lexington County.
